Fabulous boat! The Rolls Royce of sport boats, a great mix of luxury with utility. Many things I love, are the aluminum hull (great for the rocky shores of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes and rivers) and the full stove. Not cooking Thanksgiving dinner with it, but a weekend out with wife and kids
Seems like miles of headroom in the cockpit and the fishing area deeper than most. Maybe the floors could of been lifted 150 mm and that offset with larger fuel tank / s.
2.8m beam 2.9m on trailer. so you need a wide load permit? I mean 2.55m is the load width limit in NZ. I saw the boat being towed without a wideload sign. also 5.2 tonnes so you need a class 2 licence.?
They talk about quietness, but seriously, that amount of foam... i'm wondering about insulation value. If its got a complete bathtub coverage of foam, with no fluids below the waterline... it would be great for cold water operations... BC coast, alaska... and even parts of Canada... there are ports in Canada that operate year round... and in the case where the water freezes have "bubblers" that keep the ice broken up in harbor. so again fully insulated, you could stay on board even in the cold.
I've been out a couple times in one of the 8m options. Unfortunately the theorem isn't supported by reality. Yes they look great but it handles like crap. Heaps of splash over the bow, rides terribly.....I'd describe the feeling as tubbing/slapping, even in mild chop. For the coin, personally I expected a lot more. Naturally just my opinion, but its an honest take rather than the bias you'd receive if you were to ask the builder. If you plan on spending a half million, I'd take your money else where
Exactly what I would think just from looking at the hull shape. Was wondering if all the rave reviews were from people who actually know their boats, or from people who just love how they look. Thanks for your opinion.
Loving the return of the plumb bow boats. The kiwis really know how to build and put together a decent alloy boat
Wonder how long until they give the Aussie version a review, Tough Craft SA

Bravo Lee and Machina team. Unreal to see you guys on the Captain! Epic 🤘🏻
Thanks for an impartial review, amazing boat and with those minor amendments you raised, it could very well be the ultimate trailer boat.
I went to the on the water boat show in Auckland and this was the boat of the show for me...amazing boat and certainly something I would love to own!
Great work fellas. Good to see Kiwi manufacturing of innovative products. I wish you all the best.
Outstanding vessel. Couple of handsome mates you’ve got there😉
We own one of these personally, Lee and the team are great and build highest of quality boats. We love ours 🎣 🛥️
Awesome looking boat. It reminds me of the “bad guy” boats from the movie cars 2 😅
Those things are next level 😮
Amazing design. Love it
Best looking boat at the boat show!!
Great vid, stunning boat
Amazing beautiful boat🤙
Did anyone else see the love bites on that lamb roast? 😂
Epic looking boat!
Work of art
Looks like a good product 👍
Love the way you do 5 things you like and would change! Most so called ‘boat reviews’ are really just infomercials so can’t be trusted
favourite boat at the boat show.epic
Stealthy lookin beast - perfect for zipping off shore to pick the bricks up
Seems like miles of headroom in the cockpit and the fishing area deeper than most.

There such an unreal looking boat bro
Great vid 👍
Absolute weapon 👍
Stunning boat. NZ is really kicking some arse in the plate boat sector
What is it with these Kiwis building such damn good boats?
Very nice
Dream boat, what a great boat
His welding looks good to
what a beast !

I like the design..I like to see it on lake Eire
I wonder what the $$$ would be for this with twin 400hp mercurys. Also curious what the range is
Finally a vessel that i like as much as the rayglass 2800
That is villainous, if i win lotto that will be awesome.
id love to know how 'internal pontoons' or 'buoyancy chambers' in layman's terms, contribute to form stability...

Kiwis can build tin boats
I’d suggest 700 litres is very light on for that rig, weapon though.
What does it weigh?
Arkhos is 4100kg dry, no trailer.
thats sick
These boats are just sexual!!! But damn the prices 😮💨
Mean looking rig
we need all the aluminum boats in the states
What does it weigh?
Big Question Price?
Black boat really looks cool but man in the summer can you even touch the sides that’s why I would never own a black car to hot.
Ill take one of these instead of a house please.
No head ( toilet ), cmon on a 9mtr boat ,room for improvement there ????
It has a full-size shower/toilet cubicle opposite the helm, it’s just been missed in this review.
@@machinaboats unfortunate down side of the review , any husband & wife combo would of been appropriative of this
visibility is shit though I can see when underway at speed
Quality
Around $400k would buy it or no?
And the rest
Build your own for a fraction of that if you are willing to learn some skills...
Rocky is the star of the show
Super cool boat. But that black finish would burn the shit out of your feet and legs in a Florida sun.
Not bad for an alloy tin can
foam filling is nice to reduce noise etc , but christ, you'd be praying for no future metal repairs required in those areas....
Honestly always thought these where Chinese built boats
