I’m wondering if they’re only selling it directly to keep the price down since that was a big point Jared wanted with this guitar. I imagine there would be an up-charge if they were sold through retailers. If that’s the case then I dig it even more.

Jared's biggest inspiration is EVH, as much of a djenty boi he can be, he is way more the shredder, classic metal kind of guy so it makes sense his sig is more in that vein

Way back when Before High Gain amps High output pickups we're a must. It seems we are all letting go of them slowly. Plugging an Invader pickup into a black star amp is just well you know.

It's all about string tension and string tension. Just loosen the springs and the bridge will rise up from the body. I used to use only two spring and plenty of lube. Of course these bridges are not ideal it's old technology. Only a Floyd and a locking nut will assure you stability
That’s actually a rare case of metal guitars that has looks that appeal to me. Are the regular stingrays short scale? My fingers like 24” necks 😂
Well I think it's not really all that metal of a guitar is the main thing haha, obviously it can do it handily but nothing about it is typical metal stuff. They're all 25.5" as far as I know, sorry Ulf
