Glad that you've got the chance to visit Marawi, Mark. This is the place in Mindanao that is very underrated. Now, the food of Marawi and Maranao can be seen by the world. Thanks for this wonderful food journey🇵🇭
@TheChuiShow , pwede ba Chui wag ka na umepal sa mga foreign food vlogger. Panira ka lang eh. Ikaw na tumanggi parang awa mo na. You're the worst representation of food here in the Phil kaya wag ka nang trying hard, OA ka pa. Please..

As an Indian who has a Filipino girlfriend i am happy that mark is enjoying especially on the southern side of Philippines hope it stays in peace. Also hello to my Filipino brothers and sisters
I am so happy to know that an international vlogger went to Marawi. Marawi City is discriminated by many because of misconceptions. Thank you so much, Mark! welcome to our part of Mindanao
"misconceptions"... There are literally terrorist attacks and kidnappings here. And someone claims it's "bigoted people" who are skeptical regarding travel here? You guys are insane.
He is a foreigner, I wouldn’t be comfortable of him being there really. Though he looks looks like his enjoying the foods and they all look very delicious. Just be extra careful though at all times.

Sacorab(scallion), luya pageresun(ginger), luya tiduk(fresh cayyen pepper), with a few salt combine it to boyowa or mixer and that we called mailaw a Palapa (fresh palapa And when it cooked we added shreded coconut with small sugar in it that so delicious appetizer and a medecine food, the maranao food is heatiest food because their always a Kalawag(turmeric) and luya pagiresun(ginger) and the Sacorab(scallions) palapa is a secret medicine food of our ancestors maranao.
Oh my gosh, you’re in the Philippines now! I just commented on your New Zealand video, and I thought you were still here. You’re already on your next adventure! I hope to see you someday, wherever that may be. Take care and enjoy your travels!❤❤

Thank you Mark and Chiu for featuring Maranaw City, the resilience and hospitality of Maranawans and it's very interesting cuisines.
