If you go right instead of left at the start once you enter ZG, into the water. Then you can use teleport to go through a Clift and skip the mobs. It will save you a invis potion :) also sadly I think Northdale have nerfed the crocs a little :( as I know solo farming strat these days as mage makes you the most gold pr/h. But it also req a lot of gear / some consumes. Though you can 2 man mage it with only pre raid bis item. Very nice video btw, thanks for sharing :) keep it up! I took the route to the left on purpose to get the golden sansam node (bloodvines sold for 25g at ZG release patch). Invis pot mats are/were so cheap so I just used it to save time as well. Spec was something like this: classicdb.ch/?talent#of0qcocZZVA0Isfzho Dunno exact talents. You mainly need/want permafrost, CoC talents, Arcane Concentration, imp. AE, maybe Arcane Meditation. Shatter probably worth it as well but I kept Blizzard to test stuff although it never really convinced me.
Hey man, great video. Been 2 mage farming with a buddy to make this work considering slow from Blizz doesn't refresh slow on mobs when applying coc, but this is a good way to be able to solo farm it. Just curious, what rank of coc and arcane explosion are you using?
maxrank coc and r1 ae to fish for clearcast, then maxrank ae if the pack is almost dead you can switch to maxrank ae and finish off the pack i also recommend keybinding r1 coc
No I don't share my UI/WTF right now because a lot of (minor) things have changed and I am still trying to identify which addons cause (massive!) lag in AoE scenarios.
I just tested it and most of it works, except on the first pull you can't really get the second group of crocolisks because the temple grounds dismount you. Other than that, it seems to work just like the video. You can even save the LIP on the last pull with clever use of the ramp and all 3 mount speed increasing items. Or Ice Block into blink, but that can get you killed by accursed spell batching and leeway like 1/3 of the tries.
