I've totally been there. At culinary school we used to have to crack eggs into individual ramekin before we added them into a big bowl because of that very reason but I would not have wasted all those eggs either LOL I think it's so sweet that you make a hot breakfast for your kids all the time. I am having a hard time and trying to get more work life balance, so meal preps on things that taste good really, really help. But i wouldnt have minded the full hour. Love this! I make homemade fire roasted salsa. Sounds spicy but it’s not. Then my husband makes bacon, tater tot, egg, blend cheese breakfast burritos. They are sooo good when you drizzle the salsa on top. Now I want a breakfast burrito lol

Oh I would have not been able to stomach keeping that batch of eggs but totally get why you did!! Way too much to waste. When I do a big meal prep I always crack an egg into a cup/bowl/little Jug whatever before pouring it into the larger bowl, that way if I get a rotten egg or anything I don't waste an entire batch I can just dump that one egg. I do get doing it this way would take alot longer for you as you do it on such a large scale. Loved this video! Your family is just beautiful. 💜
We do frozen breakfast burritos all the time! Such a great way to still have a hearty and hot bfast in the morning when you don't have time to cook. Chorizo and egg is a fave of ours and also spam and egg 😋

Immersion kind!😘 I’ve made chorizo, potato, bacon, onion, eggs and cheese for years, some for the hubby to take to work or just for us at home- I also heat the shells up on the stove before wrapping up I put them in wax paper, then foil, and back in the bag the shells come in-taking foil off before heating in microwave - cause u wanna eat not blow up right 🤣

Try cracking the eggs on the counter instead of on the side of the bowl. If you crack it on the side of the bowl, then small cracked pieces of shell end up in the bowl.
I just made breakfast burritos and I do eggs scrambled with tomato onion and fresh jalapeño season with adobo chicken seasoning and add cut up pieces of sausage with velveeta sliced cheese
I had to toss cake batter out once because I got a bad egg like that. I make a point to crack the egg in a smaller separate bowl and then add it to the main bowl one at a time to avoid that.

I had a similar experience with blood and a little baby chick in an egg that I was about to cook when I was younger - I stopped eating eggs after that experience for over 10 years, lol. I'm super picky with food too. I recently started eating back eggs but only egg whites. No judgement here from me though- to each his own.

So the mornings like today I don't feel like cooking we just grab them out of the freezer and toss them in the air fryer to give them that crunch wrap taste🔥. Even our 4 yr old grandson loves them doesn't matter if it's lunch time or not. I do the exact same with cracking eggs separately. I never use to and I got sick of wasting alot of eggs by the time I cracked the last one it would be rotten or something and ruin the rest of them! so started separating it first...big help. 💜
When I start a family, I’m taking advantage of meal prepping. Therefore their meals are prepped and ready for the week. Just grab a meal and go out the door and go to school

100% invest in a kitchenaid stand mixer. It will save you so much time, esp with the larger quantities you are making.
What I do is I get a very small container and crackers them one by one then dump in the bigger! Because of that 😅

The eggs will be even fluffier if you use heavy whipping cream instead of milk. Used to use milk until I tried this.
