By the way… not all the Helios-44 were equal… the early KMZ versions with blue coating (aka Red P) are my favorite: Helios-44 "F = 5.8 cm" П KMZ, "Red P" (early “Start” bayonet mount) lens footage Part 2 ruclips.net/video/m2xL2tQD2Fo/видео.html
I really enjoyed this video. I’ve been using a MIR-1b lately and it brought me here. No not mir-1 microRNA precursor family, but the Flektogon 35mm 2.8 copy stolen from Jena.
@@victor.nordland Indeed, yes, Helios 44x-x was amazing lens but I think it's overpriced at the moment. At the end of the day, it is Soviet (photo) workhorse based on Biotar design. I have 2 prototypes (from 44-2 and 44M) as well 2 silver 44's and couple of 44M-4 and later models, but I got those years ago for the OK prices (at the same time wanting to own Zeiss Jena and Meyer lenses), definitely wouldnt pay today prices for them
Danke für den Reup - echt gutes Video. Allerdings: Linkes Ohr sagt "ok" zum Intro :) Mit Kopfhörern editieren hilft.
Hatte ich auch musste es nur dann im Zug neu schneiden😂 aber ja shame on me

Awesome! I‘d love to do a thing on that one too
I'll take Biotar over Helios without thinking twice; hell, i'll take Biotar over 10 Helios :D
I‘d love to try one but I gotta say on a technical level this late Helios is really superior
