    Seeing how the last video on this channel was added 2 years ago, I have no idea if the Author is still lurking here, but in case he does - thanks! I've been trying to wrap my head around FM synthesis for a while now and these tutorials are BY FAR the most informative and useful.

    'Not today' :) Like your style (and totally nice tune). Sounds like a pretty useful flanger BTW.

      +akos bacso This series will continue, as we also think the topic of FM need to be explored further. Thanks for the feedback!

    Could you maybe do a video on Automating the parameters with a DAW? Helpful CC tips and such?... Thanks.

    Hey! thank you so much for your videos! you explain it so good! I have a question, all the operators are the same? do they have the same "power" to sound or to modulate other operators? Let's say we have an algorithm with one carrier and 3 modulators, If I put some settings in modulator 2, would it be same if I put those settings in modulator 3?

      Hi, and thanks for commenting! Yes, all operators have the same "modulation power", but remember when you stack several modulators they will have effect on each other as well, going down the line! This means that in your example, the first modulator would be modulated by the second, and would thus have greater effect on the carrier.

    Is it possible to save patches to your pc since the Reface only has space for 32 patches?

      Use the Yamaha Soundmondo app ... you store patches online and use public patches stored by others

      Hello is very necessary to find a app or a software pc for the reface dx, the servers online are not for life :( urgent!
      Somebody knows a utility for this?

      A late reply but you can get a program that can initiate sysex dumps to store and send patches to your computer.

    can you make a patch from scratch with the reface dx? or is it only limited to changing parameters of existing patches/ presets?

    • @B0K1T0
      @B0K1T0 3 года назад

      It's exactly what is done in these tutorials :) The voice init step in the beginning resets all parameters to their default positions

      @@B0K1T0 can you save them as presets ?

    • @B0K1T0
      @B0K1T0 3 года назад

      @@skyeisthebeesknees Yes with the "store" button on the right side. You can then choose a bank and preset number so make sure you overwrite a preset you don't want to keep.
      (as long as you don't store it the changes you made will be lost when you switch to another patch or shut down your keyboard etc.)
