7 years after its release, Darksiders 2 superlative art direction still impresses to the extent where many years from now, all three games (fingers crossed for the eventual Darksiders 4) will still look beautiful, distinct and timeless! I love this game series!
At moments, it makes me feel like the first Tomb Raider games (the exploration, climbing and overall look and feel on the abandoned buildings) I Love it!
Darksiders 2 is the best of all the Darksiders games. Death was awesome the leveling and class systems were great and you could make cool builds and you could actually use your horse quite a bit. And the soundtrack was amazing. Shame 3 didn't do so good though at launch, but at least we've got 1 and 2. 3 has improved in the gameplay but it just sucks it took so long also the fact about Fury's horse not being usable don't know why the devs did that.

I remember playing this game more than once to get the many difficulties. Such an amazing journey, I even did the 100% secondary quests for that game, there is one that you have to find some talismas and crystals, those were a pain, I used a game guide, cause some of theses were hidden.

I hope Darksiders 4 doesn't take place on Earth. Darksiders 2 had such awesome and colorful level designs.... it was really a pretty looking game. 1 and (especially) 3 mostly took place on abandoned subways and buildings and whatnot, so the levels were very boring, except for the parts in 1 were War was in Heaven.
Death is the best rider, the rider who has the best weapons, the best techniques, the only rider I love more than strife, the only rider who proved both his brother's innocence and saved humanity.
Darksiders III story is as not as complicated as its two prequels. The writing is lazy, sad to admit, it was not a good job. Hope they do better with the fourth one if there is!

For information, I had the same bug with the invisible door at 7:26:20. And I couldn't use the fast travel too. I had to quit the game and re-launch It. Everything worked after that.
I'm always split between this and the first Darksiders. I really enjoyed the first Darksiders, but Darksiders 2 is not far behind. Darksiders 3 I actually do enjoy because of the challenge, but it can certainly be frustrating. Darksiders Genesis is also pretty fun, especially if you're playing with a friend
I have a problem, inside the dungeon "the lost temple". After entering the room where the first floating statue head appears and having finished the fight, I should climb onto the wooden block that just appeared to continue in the dungeon, but whatever I do does not go up there. Can this be the problem?

Darksiders 2 is by far my favorite chapter of the series. It has a camera and a fast-paced and fun combat system that are like those of GOW and DMC. I also love how you can climb platforms and walls, which reminds me of Prince Of Persia. Lastly, I also appreciate that there's armor and weapons to equip, like it's an ARPG (technically it partly is). This game uses a mixture of various genres, I love it. On the contrary, I hate Darksiders 3 for several reasons: The Souls-Like combat (I hate that genre, but there are people who appreciate it), the fixed camera in the fights and not dynamic like in Darksiders 1 and 2. The linearity ( Darksiders is an open World/Map game, what's the point of having the protagonist's horse die at the beginning, just to make the game linear!? The difficulty in DS3 is too much, i don't enjoy it, if i always have to stay alert and focused (in DS1 and 2, the difficulty was right and you could enjoy it without having to pay too much attention.The DS1 and (especially) DS2 Puzzles are fun and I like that they have Zelda-like Doungeons, while in DS3 there is none of this, Doungeons do not exist and the puzzles are reduced to the bone. Finally, the bosses, DS1 and 2, the bosses were many and they were varied and well done, they varied between winged monsters, giant insects, stone and ice golems, demons of all kinds, etc. where to defeat them you had to first discover the weak point and then attack (a times using local items, like bombs, or items you earned as you progressed through the game... exactly the same as Zelda). In DS3 the bosses are all trivial, the 7 deadly sins (plus some minor minibosses), where to beat them you don't have to discover the weak point or use area objects (minus the second phase of gluttony, but it doesn't last long), no, simply dodge and attack, zero strategy, just patience. Really, DS3 was a huge disappointment. I hope that if they ever make a DS4, they go back to the system of the first 2 DS and abandon the mechanics of DS3 totally. PS: sorry for this outburst, about DS3, but when you wait several years for a sequel and this is what you suck at, you don't like it at all, on the contrary, it just wastes your time and money.
Also strife gave up his pistols becuase he was trying to escape from somewhere and thought his pistols would be needed elsewhere thus war getting mercy in the first one and death gets redemption in this one
I really loved playing as Death he was so much fun! I think he was the best out of the 3, but I can't choose between War and Fury although there was so much I wish I was able to do with Fury like more variety of combos, finishers and more enhancements. They also need to make Darkiders 4 so we can play as Strife, I'm not into RPG Top-Down games so I wasn't gonna play Genesis but Strife definitely deserves his own game.

So anyone who wants to defeat this boss , if you're playing on a PC and if it lags a bit you just change your resolution to 800*600 and you can easily defeat this boss . Just hit the ball on the front side on the slightly left or right and you're good to go
This game was amazing, but everything in it seemed to last just a little too long. One too many stages in boss fights, one too many puzzles, 100 too many vengeful spirits 😂 they squeezed everything they could out of every asset

I do agree that some of the post apocalyptic designs were generic but I do love the level design of Darksiders 3 as opposed to 2.

I found the solution from the Darksiders II forum, Enable V-sync from the options menu, then restart the game for it to apply the change. Works for me

The linearity ( Darksiders is an open World/Map game, what's the point of having the protagonist's horse die at the beginning, just to make the game linear!? The difficulty in DS3 is too much, i don't enjoy it, if i always have to stay alert and focused (in DS1 and 2, the difficulty was right and you could enjoy it without having to pay too much attention.The DS1 and (especially) DS2 Puzzles are fun and I like that they have Zelda-like Doungeons, while in DS3 there is none of this, Doungeons do not exist and the puzzles are reduced to the bone. Finally, the bosses, DS1 and 2, the bosses were many and they were varied and well done, they varied between winged monsters, giant insects, stone and ice golems, demons of all kinds, etc. where to defeat them you had to first discover the weak point and then attack (a times using local items, like bombs, or items you earned as you progressed through the game... exactly the same as Zelda).
In DS3 the bosses are all trivial, the 7 deadly sins (plus some minor minibosses), where to beat them you don't have to discover the weak point or use area objects (minus the second phase of gluttony, but it doesn't last long), no, simply dodge and attack, zero strategy, just patience. Really, DS3 was a huge disappointment. I hope that if they ever make a DS4, they go back to the system of the first 2 DS and abandon the mechanics of DS3 totally.
PS: sorry for this outburst, about DS3, but when you wait several years for a sequel and this is what you suck at, you don't like it at all, on the contrary, it just wastes your time and money.

Also strife gave up his pistols becuase he was trying to escape from somewhere and thought his pistols would be needed elsewhere thus war getting mercy in the first one and death gets redemption in this one

I really loved playing as Death he was so much fun! I think he was the best out of the 3, but I can't choose between War and Fury although there was so much I wish I was able to do with Fury like more variety of combos, finishers and more enhancements. They also need to make Darkiders 4 so we can play as Strife, I'm not into RPG Top-Down games so I wasn't gonna play Genesis but Strife definitely deserves his own game.

@@Autonomous_Don I'm gonna go with no because I've played all the god of war games, completed most of them even on psp! Darksiders II is a good game which I would recommend. I've played Darksiders 1, 2, 3 and 4 and 2 is my favourite! God of War is an awesome series which is better than Darksiders.

So anyone who wants to defeat this boss , if you're playing on a PC and if it lags a bit you just change your resolution to 800*600 and you can easily defeat this boss . Just hit the ball on the front side on the slightly left or right and you're good to go

This game was amazing, but everything in it seemed to last just a little too long. One too many stages in boss fights, one too many puzzles, 100 too many vengeful spirits 😂 they squeezed everything they could out of every asset
