Went and checked one out and absolutely fell in love! They didn’t have the plus so I’m gonna see what the price would be and then go from there! I love the idea of downsizing and finding ways to utilize the space!
Hope you enjoy the Ascape. I’ve been looking at it also as an option for a single traveler.......hope you do a follow-up video after you’ve had it for a while. Thanks for sharing the walk-thru......very informative. Happy camping.
We have been out on our first camping trip and I love it! Perfect size for small trucks and SUV’s. Very lightweight and I can see behind the camper while traveling. Perfect for single travelers! I plan to do another video with pro cons and small users modifications. Go check them out!
Nice rig and great walk through !!! Question: Did you consider going with the Aliner Aframes, like the Classic or Ranger ? Curious why you went with the Ascape ?? Thanks !!! We are trying to decide and like you have an SUV.
Gerard Hey Gerard hope all is well. I had a pop up before this one and it was so cumbersome that it left a bad taste. The new Aliner A frames are very nice and have more space than the Ascape but I did not want to go thru the ritual of taking things down and popping the rig up. With my small SUV I needed something light weigh until I can get a bigger tow vehicle. It works great right now.
@@RezziOutdooringandRVing Makes sense, enjoy ! We have a Toyota Highlander, and think an Aliner Classic or Expedition might do the trick for the 2 of us...Thanks for the reply and have fun !!
Gerard Yes that would be just fine to pull. Too bad we are stuck indoors for now. Not too many places open for camping. I’m getting cabin fever. Enjoy your new rig. Happy travels.
Can I ask a question. Where the toilet is, can you just make that extra storage instead of having a toilet in camper. Otherwise I like the trailer. Thank you for your time. Jessica 😊
@@RezziOutdooringandRVing Thank you for your feedback. Sadly I found out today that the company has put a hold on making these trailers due to all covid issues etc. They are focusing more on the Aliner line.Plus they won't build this trailer without the cassette toilet build out. Do hope they give that consideration for no toilet in trailer when they restart production of this trailer. Thank you again for your help and time. Take care! Jess 🙂
I’m considering getting one and will be towing with a 2017 Kia Sportage as well. Does it tow easily? Also, I’m a little concerned that without a fantastic fan, that it might get hot inside when boondocking. Probably won’t be at traditional campsites with power very often.
Colin Kulow it pulls really well with the Sportage. I used to have a pop up camper and the Ascape tows much better and you can see around behind the RV. It comes with super cold AC when plugged in that will work fine. I bough a little USB fan from Walmart that works ok when dry camping. I am loving my Ascape hope you do too.
T.J. Rewis I have a Class II hitch installed which is rated for 3500lbs. You will also need a 7 prong plug with a power and electric brake line installed.
@@RezziOutdooringandRVing When you tow do you need to be in awd? Im going to look at one this weekend, but its the ST. I can't wait for you to post more!
T.J. Rewis I don’t have AWD my Sportage is FWD but I do use the “sport” mode for better performance. Awesome that your going to see one soon. The ST has fewer options than the Plus. Go on to Aliner.com to compare options. If you get it I would like to see some pictures!
Gregory Adkins it’s funny how the smaller the unit the more expensive it is. Tiny has become a movement. It forces you to spend more time outdoors enjoying nature. I really enjoy our unit. I was lucky to get a end of year close out sale for about 14k without the indoor shower.
Good video, thank you. I hope you are enjoying the camper ✌

Purchased a 2020 plus. My wife, dog, and I love it. We have a 2008 explorer and a 2007 escape, 6 cylinder, no problem with either.
Let’s Xscape! What’s the price range?

Is there an exhaust fan in the ac unit?
The ac does have fan settings but does not exhaust out. There is a small exhaust fan over the stove that I use to take out some of the heat inside.
Can I ask a question. Where the toilet is, can you just make that extra storage instead of having a toilet in camper. Otherwise I like the trailer. Thank you for your time. Jessica 😊
Yes I think that can easily be removed with a simple modification. It can become a large storage area or a closet.

Would my 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL be able to tow this? I believe it can tow 2000...
I tow with a Kia Sportage. 2000lbs capacity. Some would say NO you can’t because of the added weight. Thankfully my Kia tows it just fine.
Who is the dealer and where arę they located?
Michael Boelke I got mine at Como Rv in Inverness Florida. Here is a link to their website: Ask for Tim Hudson.
