Great video as always Paul. I always go to you first because I know you always put quality over price. Can always count on you to show the good ones! I think this one my Jeep can even tow with a tow limit of 2000lbs. Anyone commenting needs to consider the weight. Most people buying these micro trailers can't tow much weight. Thanks for asking the question about the hot water heater. 17 gal. of hot water is ALOT of showers. Put a screen room up outside the door and this little guy has everything I'd ever want.
And I thought you fellas were going to mention that you could pull the little trailer with the Mini in the background. It would have been a terrific opportunity.
@Robert G Burke we have a 2007 ford escape with a 6 cylinder and it came with a tow package and a 2008 explorer. Both came with 4 pin hook up. We had them rewired for 7 pin and a brake buddy. Best part is, I'm 6'2" and can stand up inside.
That's way too expensive for this small unit. I've looked at Travel Lite Falcon w/c is bigger with wet bath, 5cuft fridge, queen size bed and lots of storage and so much more for 18-19K MSRP.
We carried Travel Lite for one year. Do your homework on them. You get what you pay for! Let's just say that this company is no longer with our dealership either!
Where does the max air fan go? And don't try telling me it doesn't need it. All true campers need a max air fan. The insulation is an R4 level. I'm ok with that, but I need a fan. The AC can move some air in the "fan" mode, but that won't run on DC. Doh!!! I guess it's inverter time.
The Ascape does not have an option for a Maxx Air Fan. Now, with that said, we may be able to install one for a customer. I do understand the benefit of them and they do work great. Thanks for Watching.
OK, it was not specified that there was an aluminum frame inside the wall. He refers to fiberglass backed with Azdel, then Styrofoam and finally luan to provide a good grip to attach cabinets. So why not use Azdel also inside if there is some kind of aluminum frame inside the wall to provide solid screwing?
It is hard to explain every aspect of the construction of any RV. These video's are meant to give you a good overview. When I meet with Customers in person, that is where I can go into as much detail as needed for them specifically.
Every RV can have issues. Sometimes it is a Manufacturer issue, however most of the time it is a lack of proper maintenance. What matters is how well they back their product.
got a quote from Tim @ 16,999 but another camping place has it at 16000 before discounts. Could your place be inflating sticker price and offering "discounts"?
The MSRP is from the manufacturer. I know of other dealers listing a discounted price on their websites, but there is no way the MSRP at the other dealer is just $16,000.
We carry other manufacturers that are less expensive. There is a reason for the price being lower! Feel free to stop by and I will gladly show you around. Nothing wrong with buying a less expensive camper if you find one with a warranty that the manufacturer stands behind and honors it.
The LL Camplite 11fk is a 1000 pounds heavier and even the cheapest used one I see on RV Trader is within 2-3000 of a new Ascape. Am I missing something? Apples and oranges.

Appreciate it!
Thanks for watching

Phenomenal video, Paul! The industry expert really nailed it. I bet that the Ascape can be had for less that the T@B 400.
We have the 2020 ascape plus, love it.
Awesome

What's the wattage of the solar panel up top? It looks small. Less than 100?
Only 50 watts
Thanks for the reply, paul. Might be enough to get the job done for a minimalist.
Awesome, love it.
Good little starter unit perfect for two
I notice no DVD payer to the TV or antenna so only TV is cable
That is correct. However, you can purchase an antenna and connect it to the cable connection on the outside to get local channels.

Paul, enjoyed another nice video. Thanks. By the way, it seems like the awning may not be used while the door is open. So is that a design flaw?
no door can be opened while awning is out

Minute 2:25: cabinets are screwed in 1/8" luan?
Really?
What else can it be screwed through? Yes it is screwed through the Luan and into the Aluminum Frame to give it structure. Hope this helps!

$22,831 !!! Lol 😂
You think that's funny.... Wait till you see the price when they are back out later this year.
HAD A ALINER ESCAPE THAT LEAKED SO BAD. YIKES, HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH SELLING THIS JUNK.

yes way as they say, www.rvtrader.com/dealers/detail/Road+Trip+Camping-2963074?sort=featured%3Aasc&dealerid=2963074&radius=150&
Livin lite 11fk 2018 is way better than this for way less $$$.
