I’m really disappointed by the customization in the Multiplayer. I really was excited to be a night lord in gravis armor, but come to find out they’re only assault. It’s just really limiting and feels like a cut corner to have preset legions for the heretic classes when you have so much for the loyalists.
Night Lords wouldn’t have Gravis armor anyway. The closest you would get would be the bulkier Havoc armour that heavy weapon marines wear in the Heretic forces.
@@MiffedMonkey1Ok, but they still made it work for the Deathguard heavy, assuming he’s wearing the havoc armor. Besides the armor isn’t the point, it’s the lack of customization for heretics in comparison to loyalists.
They did confirm that the game will be crossplay! I'm glad it is becoming standard on games. I hated that through school you had to choose a system for what you can play with friends. Now I'm on PC, my GF is on Xbox, and we can play lots of games together.
I had seen somewhere that cross play was restricted, at least for PvP. Only the consoles could play and together and only pc could play together. So Xbox and PS users could play against each other in PvP, but not against Steam or Epic users
@@hypo7351 Yeah they clarified that in the past few days. That is disappointing. They should have done it like other games where you just have cross-play, but a toggle for pc/console.
@@alienatedpoet1766 I agree. I do see why they did though. It’s to make it more fair and less laggy. Hopefully crossplay open for everyone on Operation mode
@@hypo7351 Yeah, mouse aiming might be a little too lore accurate for console players XD In all seriousness I understand but it does suck for casual players. TBH because crossplay is being standardized I wish gyro-aiming would be become standard too because that is a tool most controllers have now that helps bridge the skill gap. (Xbox doesn't have gyro even though it SHOULD)
It really does seem like the main meat of this game will be the pve and campaign. Feels like a step back in time to when the pvp was just a little bonus tacked on and honestly I don’t even think that’s a bad thing.
I don't think there is anything to worry about. The pvp in this game is going to be hopelessly unbalanced. Personal opinion, mind you.I really feel like the studio as a whole would probably get more Players Catering to the pve spectrum of the game that has more legs. We're in a very interesting place in the market where it seems like there's a real want to have a pve coop experience. Not saying there isn't a player base for pvp team based shooter. But I just really can't see it ever making enough of a ripple to be worth supporting. Between the balancing that needs to be done To make it even be a fun game mode. To the new arenas that would have to be made so it doesn't end up feeling stale. There's a reason why in the current market that you basically see across-the-board a separation of pvp and pve games. If you're trying to make both at the same time you're basically are hurting both. I hope i'm wrong but I fully expect the p v p to be basically a flash in the pan and done very quick. Maybe there'll be some skins locked behind it. People will grind for and then never touch it again.
Yeah, that was kind of lame but at the same time I understand why they did that after all, how would new players know what class someone is playing for the heretics? At least for all the loyal astartes they have different armour designs that clearly shows off what class they are. Unfortunately, for the heretics that is not the case. you’re not going to see heretic space marines wearing Phobos armour or gravis armour.
@@hercules2342sniper and reiver have distinguishable features for example, same as for tactical/bulwark and assault which have the same armor pattern. I still don’t think they will never change the chaos part, they will once they see that a lot of people want to be able to customise them.
chill, they will change it,loyalist are in story and co op so they focused on them, pretty sure they have plans to add chaos co op etc,and later they will give chaos customization
@@hebavdusbdd9277 I'm as optimistic as you are, but we gotta be real here, half the players in a PvP match will have close to no customization. This is a major issue at lauch.
While it's lore breaking. I believe customization should be open. I think chaos marines are like high ranking, high tier cosmetics. Just make it a red vs blue team. Anyone can wear any armor they want. So they can be attached more on their personal marine. NGL those chaos armors look sick and badass.
there is no need to worry, it will be %100 chaotic and unbalanced just as it was in SM1
Just like in every multiplayer mode in games nothing New 😂

I really hope there are melee finisher moves in PVP like there are in the PVE.
