I have one of these and mighty happy I am too. There's a totally disingenuous Aussie car YTer who has a serious hate of Mercedes-Benz, and claims they are unreliable. Well, I've had 4 Mercs and know at least 6 other current owners and none of us has had ANY issues with our cars.
Well, I have the same engine in my used CLS 400, 110.000kms when I bought it. Runs amazingly but twice in 3 months I had issues with an NOX-sensor. These cost €700 for the part and labor. These engines have 4 of them and if they keep braking down frequently the running cost of such engines is staggering. But basically that is an issue with all direct injection fuel engines from what I read on the internet.
@@cornpit77 The MB manual says you should do a fast highway trip at least once a month for about half an hour. If you pootle about in the city all the time in traffic jams or do lots of stop-start driving the sensors will eventually fail if you don't blow out the cobwebs every now and again. This IS a common problem, even Toyota have this issue.
How many KW..???? Get it right..!!!! My Dad is 67 and he took a couple of minutes to figure it all out.. (with much glee and excitement). I'm in love with this E400 4Matic Benz and have ordered one for myself.
I don't get it...the Mercedes website shows the 4 door sedan only coming in E300 or the AMG versions (E43 and E63). E400 is seems to be reserved for the coupe version based on what I see on the website. Where can you find the E400 4 door?
There’s nothing gross about that car. I like 💕the way the grill sticks out between the headlights. That’s what makes it look badass. So to each his own.
Styling wise, it just doesn't look right with that front end. Needs the Exclusive Line package with the traditional Mercedes-Benz chrome grille and upright star on the bonnet.
as the new lineup of mercedes comes, the void that is now the "e550 replacement" becomes murky. The e400 here is pisspoor in comparison, and the e43 is still weak and more amg themed. looks like its finally time to bite the bullet and get an e63?
loved the cinematography.. specially the first 90 seconds.
the body colour gels well with the dusky background

Soheil Z check again
Soheil Z it’s up now, it’s a 2018 model in the U.S.
There is E450 4 door Sedan in the US website
Great video and well presented - its 245kw though.
Excellent review
I'm not quite as enamoured with the styling as you are but I don't hate it, good review in general and I fully agree about the touch pads etc...
The top speed is limited at 250 km/h and the car has 245 KW / 333 hp, the average fuel consumption is 8.5l. (combined).
thanks for the 10 or so seconds you spent reviewing the performance mode...
Even in my 2016 passat, rear passengers can set their own temperature... and its not even fully geared up
Excellent review!!!!!

Run-flats are a dealbreaker...
brendan pottage you don't have to put them on it's a choice
Love this car!
It’s my dream car
Can we get 0 to 60 mph times
5-6 seconds easy, if that

Georges river national park!
e400 is not 200kw......sorry but you spoiled the video
"I'm about 30 years younger than the average buyer of this car". Wow, you're 13 years old?
How much is the car 🚗?
Any colour interior you like as long as it’s black😒😒😒
You can option different interior colours.
