Heather thinks Wheels is really cute, and figures if she throws a party, gets the lights low, and Wheels alone, everything will fall into place. Melanie, Kathleen and Diana welcome Maya into their gang but when they decide to go to a movie, they're pretty sure Maya won't mind if she's not invited, since they don't think her wheelchair can get into the theatre. Lucy visits L.D. in hospital where she is undergoing tests.

Actually cellphones were first introduced in 1973 I think it was Mortorola that made the first cell phone. But like with most things, it wasn't given to the public until 1983. Even then they weren't as popular at least not until the 90s.
HEAVENLY YEAR I WAS BORN AND I LOVE THIS OLD DEGRASSI LIKE THE LATER ONES: THE INFINITE "DEEPEST ROMANCE" MOVIES.
While cell phones were around in 1989, they were too bulky and expensive for general use. Only business folks had them, and even then, they rarely used them outside of pure business needs. It wouldn't be until around the mid 90s that cell phone plans got cheaper, but still out of reach for many until the very late 90s when they became commonly seen in public.
They existed in 1989, but were bulky and used only by a few of the powerful and wealthy people. They weren't common until 1998.
I love Heather and Erica’s relationship...they’re so unbelievably close and cute.

yea, it's too bad. He was a diabetic and battled alcohol addiction. He died of a heart attack at 35. Also it's interesting to point out that around the time of his parents dying in the show, it turns out, his real parents died around the same time.

That was mean of those girls to exclude Maya just bc she’s in a wheelchair. I have a disability myself so I know how it feels people used to assume I couldn’t do things or I was dumb and they would exclude me.

Too bad Heather and Wheels didn't end up together. They had great chemistry on screen!
Neil Hope contributed to those around him in his life, and had a bad run. Many people do. He lost his life, dying alone in a boarding house. He is still remembered by those that loved him and worked with him. What will you be remembered for, I ask?

Paige Aliece-Rose enjoy it shows real life situations and things are the same as when I was in high school just new things have been added to the experience of high school like social media and sex rings that recruit teens for prostitution. You should also watch 21 Jump Street it deals with crime and drugs in high school and the young cops pose as regular teens to bust criminals at school.

The difference between having only a telephone (back then) and at least half a dozen different social media apps (now). Nowadays a sneaky boyfriend or girlfriend who knows their password can ping their phone any time they want to find out where they are at.
Yes.I also grew up with only a telephone and nobody annoyed me by phone.Today these social media apps are too numerous and can lead to harass another person without any respect of his privacy.
And that is why I try to avoid social media. I am perfectly happy without it, but the only thing that bothers me is when a few people pressure me to go on it!
