Boris tries to run away after lying, Speaker forces him to stay

  • At the end of Prime Minister's Questions Angela Rayner asked Boris Johnson to correct the record, after he denied saying worries about inflation were "unfounded" (he had).
    Johnson declined, instead choosing to get up, try and leave the chamber, and avoid answering her point of order. Unfortunately for the prime minister, he was due to immediately give a statement on the UK's pandemic response and, therefore, was ordered back to his seat by the Speaker.

      I can't think of one single thing this Government, under Johnson, has actually achieved. I'm open to supporting any party that is honest and is genuinely interested in making the lives of the public, particularly the less well off, better.

Should never have been a referendum in the first place, should have had a minimum turn out requirement when it did happen and a minimum number of votes to pass. Far too complex of a decision for the general public to understand let alone take on and vote on, and far too divisive for the Country in the final result. Should have required a 75% vote for leave or remain from a larger number of people, in order for that to be followed through. Or abandoned. The only reason Boris won any election, was because of Brexit. Plain and simple.

Had the result been the opposite, they would have been asking for a new referendum themselves every other year of course.     It’s a hard pill to swallow knowing that this guy and his mates were all partying and ignoring their very own rules that were being enforced with a very heavy hand by the police. Every person who was arrested or fined should have all of that dropped. Boris is no different to about just about every other political leader at the moment, we seem to be having a pandemic of dishonesty and hypocrisy amongst the political class.

      War is futile and doesn’t achieve anything but these people certainly don’t mind sending others kids of to war to be maimed and killed, they never send their own do they?
      These politicians don’t mind locking people down and destroying their jobs and their lives, crushing small business into the ground and using an ever more militant police to enforce these rule while all the time ignoring these rules themselves. This virus has given governments worldwide the perfect opportunity to show their true colours and establish they are the ruling class and we are their plebs, people are starting to rise up and not only these rules but this growing attitude of contempt and disdain for the people. People worldwide need to vote out every single one of them that has gone along with this nonsense and treat them with the contempt they deserve.

    If you'd hear the lies when they campaigned you would never vote for this. Wisdom is not the same as knowledge But you need to have both to make a good decision.

    Perhaps Starmer should make way for Rayner, she's much more effective at publicly ridiculing Bozo and his corrupt bunch. She has a lot more charisma than Starmer too.

      @@simonwinter8839 Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but I think the public polls speak for themselves. Starmer has the charisma of a damp rag compared to BJ. That clown is only going to go down because of all the corruption and contempt for all the rules and every British citizen. Even his incompetence was trumped by his charisma... Starmer couldn't get away with a fraction of what Johnson did just because he lacks charisma, he's not a man of the public - even though he has a lot more to offer than his Tory counterpart.

      @@nirmalsandhu5256 Technically both sides get upset over masks. One side gets upset about being forced to wear one, the other gets upset about masks not being worn. The difference is one side wants to be able to go wherever they want and do whatever they want while risking spreading a highly infectious disease to those who are wearing masks to protect the society we live in.
      Don't want to wear a mask? Grow up, fuck off into the woods and spend your time creating a society of bootstrap-pulling anti-masking anti-vaxxing elites. I'm sure that'd make both sides happy.
