    Guangfu, Yongnian is the hometown of Yang Style founder Yang Lu Chan.

    Yes swords is generally quite short, but you are right it can seem longer, when I first started swords my arm ached my fingers also! When you are in China look to the parks, they do it outdoors, though I guess not the sword forms, unless rules are less strict in China? Enjoy your trip, safe journey.

    A nice performance, with some for Yang style uncharacteristic fajin and a few alternations to Chen Weiming`s routine.
    But the sword? Another fluppy foil, can`t anyone buy him a desent weapon?

    That's a $20 wushu toy sword. A real sword won't wobble, no matter how much fajin is behind each strike.
    As for finding real swords in China, you don't have to, there's plenty of real ones available online. You can ever get blunt ones that will act like a real jian. Of course, they won't balance at the guard like this one. They'll provide a better feedback and better posture. But they all cost at least $200. Hence why none of these guys has one.
