You updated the EV price to $114 well ahead of pulling unique foil! I had to rewind a few times to see what card I missed but then just continued watching until the the lady was pulled. :) I did find marked update interesting.
It's not so much as the reprint being bad, it's doing a reprint after saying there are no boxes left that is the dick move. btw, what's the status on an eventual AL reprint?
In Europe there are many people that would like to try the game but there is no Beta here, you cant play the game with AL only and Beta isn't an investment vehicle, it never was, just because MTG had unlimited white bordered doesn't mean Sorcery make a small Beta print and create unlimited too. Beta is the base play set and I guess it will be replaced when the decision is made to make different playset of cards as new base set.
Yeah, it would be nice to have product in all regions... That's definitely been a challenge. Though I don't buy the notion that beta isn't for collecting - There's a huge collecting component to all sorcery sets. If it wasn't for collecting, there would be no beta curios or foils. Calling beta the play set does a disservice to all those who do collect beta - and its also very dangerous in the way that folks may stop collecting sorcery product all together. (And the market is dominated by collectors, not as much as pokemon, but its a large portion)
@@PhilosopherCards Yeah it really seems they think Germany and Italy is Europe because those places, and the UK which we cant trade with due to heavy taxes being non EU, where the only places that had proper local supply. But the distributors here are selling the product for MSRP thus local game stores did not try the product, they arent Non profit organisations and dont want to charge over MSRP to their customers it causes reputation damage. Dunno maybe they did send enough but gave it to the wrong stores and distros who sit on it like big mama goose!

@PhilosopherCards Cards auctioning off at less than 50% of their market value isn't a dip. The "so what" attitude of reprint news doing a huge loss of trust and using downward trends as an "everything is fine" "dip" "etc" isn't me being a "Timmy" , just you shilling with a terrible defense.

I tend to agree, I think the issue is the trust and transparency of earlier statements more than the actual reprint

I just use the opportunity and buy a lot. Just finished my foil beta set. Now Im gonna hunt for curios. Hopefully I get some good deals.

Generally speaking industry doesn’t release such numbers - maybe info on a ballpark or something to that nature. But it’s a slippery slope
