Yeah, I was wondering the same, especially after he was told about the snake.
I was out in a field of turnip greens. I never dawned on me about anything cause my mind was set on free greens. Suddenly I felt something cold/ wet on one of my legs. I calmly pulled my pant leg up and it was a green frog.🐸 I gently took it off and then I freaked out.😖😟😧😳 I was happy it wasn't a snake.🐉

It was built in the 1990s but it appears to have been vacant since at least 2006. It was gutted in 2022, when the property got a new owner. Idk if it's due to the injury or watching a few other styles of lawncare vids, but I'm suddenly super aware of shoveling form. In the same way ppl who lift weights need to also build supportive muscles that can get neglected, I suddenly am getting nervous of all the weight being put into the lower/mid-back & just am sending thoughts of heat packs your way XD. I know this is back-breaking work, but man, I'm all looking at it like an art form & always hoping for best health (I have back pain issues). I used to just watch this & Blade Mate Lawn Care before bed to sleep, but now I'm all up pondering the height & methods for tackling these big uncoverings & questioning things like the length of the tools & handle placements & how difficult the soils must be. Btw I love the work you do! Keep it up!

Al, when you talked about no goal too big... It hit home with me. I am 57, have some serious health issues. I have been working on myself. It is hard. It will take a long time, but i am getting there. I keep chipping away at it like you did with the grass covering the driveway. I will keep that immage in my mind from now on! When i get discouraged I will keep chipping away, over and over.
Thanks for the great video and the pep talk! Have a great week!

They have some pretty good sized bugs out there too, some might confuse that spider crawling across the floor in your house for your cat or small dog. My brother keeps telling me I should move to FL. Allot to like but I fear all the creepy crawling dangerous creatures..of the non human kind and maybe a few of the human kind as well.

And then the neighbor couldn’t believe the Ventrac mulched all that up lol. I couldn’t imagine having to carry that “carpet” off by hand. Ventrac bucket came in clutch 💪. The initial showing of the rediscovery of paving was astounding of itself, and then you connected it to the property you were reviving. Wow. When you started down by the gate, the cleanup level was fairly easy, as far as the driveway. When soil shifting and growing over the driveway began, it was pretty major. Liked how you mapped out what the hidden layout was, figured-out how to cut the overgrowth into chunks, for removal, and began to work and clear sections, so it was possible to see real progress. I am so glad you had the Ventrac, with a grapple, to help with moving the massive buildup. 27:57 is a view showing that this place is no longer in the same category as when you started it. You said it right, one bit at a time and you got it nicely done.
