I remember Sethbling made an MCEdit filter for this sort of thing years ago. It actually takes it one step further because you can make it say 2 different words depending on your perspective.
hey matt! your way of making would absolutely work. the only reason i didn’t do that is because i wanted an italicized “fancy” font. i think i spent about 4-6 hours on each letter

Draw the text using some glass and then use /setblock ^ ^ ^x quartz to place blocks at a specific distance. And use different values for x

question, how are the blocks floating? i know the city build is supposed to be realistic so i think you should try to make something for that
they are on glass panes that act as pillars and used to be slightly visible but a pack update a couple yrs ago made them transparent. just havent got around to fixing that
@@natifv iirc there’s a cake block that has like the really think wire kinda aesthetic (or you could use cyan/brown stained glass panes for a thicker look ig)
