I love the Hexa gear Kotobukiya kits mecha. Once built they feel like quality products. The governors on the other hand are absurdly pricey for absolutely no reason. Thankfully I was able to find a few governors for only like $10-12 bucks each.
Sometime i think kotobukiya intending to jack up their price to combat discount Expensive kit tend to not sell when considering its size & detail But once the price dip into 50% discount, their price become similar to bandai & better in quality (kinda)
I love Kotobukiya kits, they're way more solid than Gunpla, most of the parts are ABS, and some kits even have POM joint parts for extra toughness, you just can't go wrong with them.
I built this kit a couple months back. It’s was my first hexagear kit I’ve ever built and man it is so much fun. It looks great right out the box. I really dig the bug theme of it.
i have the cannon gonna paint it to go with 30ms Lirinel and Laranel one looking down the scope one holding up the barrel i have the scope on the side by the handle
one thing i found annoying was in the promo images for the 2nd set of parts (missiles, claws, and wings) it shows them combined with the 1st sets, but doesn't have instructions on how to do it included... attaching the claws works the same as if you were just making the 2nd official beetle, but there's no way to attach the missiles and wings like the pics show w\out having a few spare hexagear connector bits not included with any of these, specifically you need 2 hexagon to thick peg ones, and i don't think that's how they did it for the photo since the missiles don't sit quite the same and get in the way of both the claws and the boosters, it's also a bit odd looking, and i wish the wings could attach inside the booster w\out having to do modding to look more like a beetle's elytra actually does, but the mech bug\tank aesthetic just looks great and this just feels massive and imposing compared to almost every other hexagear kit... but does have the price to match if you spring for all of it
Warhammer fans would kill for these prices for a kit this big. Hexa gear is a bit pricey, but they're really nice and fun kits, and are fun to paint up.
Blockade Ivy looks so much like the mecha used is the 86 anime. Very cool.
Yesss more Hexa Gear reveals reviews please!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏

That's got some Metal Gear ZEKE vibes!
Yeah you could definitely build it in a different way to be more Metal Gear-esque

because bug-shaped mecha is romance, same with mecha with drills, lol.
👍👍👍👍👍
Main body looks like a pickup truck.
These are just plain old too expensive, no way around it.
Yea and the 30mm kits looking real nice
No one asked u, champ
@@tannutuva695No one had to ask. It's a discussion.
@@tannutuva695 well obviously not, genius. Are you unfamiliar with comment sections or free speech in general?
