Seven Years Later, Is For Honor FIXED? - The Complete Journey So Far

- As much flak as For Honor's developer has earned in today's industry (and rightfully so), there was a time when the developer would experiment and try new things. It also delivered a multiplayer fighter: For Honor.
For Honor features several factions - Knights, Vikings, and Samurai (with Outlanders and Wu Lin joining later) - fighting to the death. It's a fighting game at heart, with the perspective shifting during Duels to allow players to focus on positioning their attacks and blocking. While there are aspects of an arena fighter, it also offers much more nuance.
While it launched with multiple problems, For Honor has become one of the longest-supported titles out there. It continues to receive updates, including new maps and heroes. How has it evolved over the seven-plus years since its launch? Find out everything here.
It definitely has its problems but in my opinion it's still the most underrated pvp game out right now
I still remember the story of one tournament where a player won the grand prize and admitted he basically cheesed the tournament.
7 years later. No new Maps, trash reward system, amazing combat, terrible ai in the lobby for no reason really. No UI improvements or faction changes.
Cant believe this game is only 7 years old. I remember playing it back then, ot was amazing!
We need a part 2!
I played for about a week when the game launched and haven’t touched it since about 7 months ago. I had a random urge out of no where and safe to say I have 3000 hours on it already. There is no game like this anywhere else. Shame on Ubisoft for sitting on such a unique fighting style game and they did nothing with it or even created more games there like sitting on a gold mine. Regardless this game is underrated just be careful if you do try this because this game has a super toxic fanbase for no reason. Ubisoft treats this game like they never wanted to create it in the first place
Yeah it has so much potential and Ubisoft doesn’t see it because it doesn’t meet their unrealistic expectations their other games created and they drip feed the game content because at the beginning they poorly executed Jason Vandenberghe’s proposed idea of FOR HONOR and they took a leap of faith with it like for example how buggy it was at the beginning which is what caused most people to never return even though it’s made a lot of progress since then and people should try it again. It’s sad most of the original devs and writers like Jason Vandenberghe aren’t around anymore either because some of them left or were fired because they actually had passion for the games idea and were too hard to work with for the corporate executives. I hope one day the game gets the support and player base it needs to survive for more years to come.
FOR HONOR still has so much potential and possible content and I pray Ubisoft never ends support for this game or at least never stops supporting the concept and idea of FOR HONOR because it’s truly one of a kind. Also this video seems to be made by people who don’t actually play the game which is a shame.
Been playing fh since launch I love it
Same here brother but one year after launch 😂
game is dead
@adonyz666 no it's not lol
For honor was my most beloved fighting game and by my perspective how fighting should work in games. Until new heroes made it a roulette and updates killed player progression.
In 2017, I played FH in a tick/bed bug-infested hotel for a week because the WiFi/game was awesome
There’s no game that I’d do that for..
@@Dswizzy217 hahahaha I got shots after so I’m good
Vanguard, shows a heavy
Assassin’s shows a hybrid
Hybrids shows assassins
Bro show the right footage in the beginning pls
The campaign’s antagonist is Apollyon not astra
Exactly lol
You got a friend your gonna have a blast the amount of adrenaline ive gained on this game is ridiculous
One of my favourite modern fighting games but it sure does have its problems but my biggest issue is a lack of maps and steel isn't earned fast enough.
For Honor deserve a better video. The footages are severely outdated. This ChatGPT generated script is trash. Why not interview someone from the scene?
No seriously I thought I was the only one who thought this. So many content creators and they couldn’t interview one who actually has more to actually add.
I stoped caring what he had to say when I saw most of the gameplay was from the cringey campaign gameplay and just the constant reuse of trailers.
@@crypto40 Story Mode is amazing though
For Honor fixed? The Launch version was more fun & better in almost every way. OG fans will remember.
Thats just nostalgia speaking

Agreed, they streamlined all classes and removed unique npc kill animations and threw in bunch of silly effects and emotes.
