    That's some good shootin' at 200 Ryan. Don't feel bad about not recommending the extractors though...they sent them to you for review and if they don't work (you're not the only one to say so) they need to know. Imagine the rave review you'll give them when their new ones knock it out of the park. I, for one, will get some...but only when people like you and your channel say they're worth it. Keep your video's coming...I look forward to each one!

    The wind here in North Carolina is always changing and bursting, so there is no telling where the pill is going to land. Still Sk is good ammo, it shots well so far in all of my 22s, have to try on my Tikka T1X. As always great video and keep them coming. Thanks.

    Good morning, Never miss one of your vids. I too run a CZ, KRG Bravo, Jard trigger, Harrell tuner, Vortex RZR gen iii, I also had some unexplained flyers with my SKLRM, I started sorting by rim thickness and weight and the errant flyers were much smaller,{by about half} I currently am running Lapua Long Range. My groups at 75 and less are consitantly 1/2 moa and 100 to 250 run 1 1/2 moa. with a 10 shot group many will fall under moa. One thing that I had started doing that has a positive outcome is cleaning with Kano Kroil and JB Borebrite. Also running a dry patch after 20 rounds has worked well. I know your from CA I'm CenTx. Our bi-monthly bench matches are always subject to the breeze. (wind only counts if it is 20+}

      I’m still on the hunt for some of that newer lapua long range and super long range. Haven’t seen any yet though

    Wow! 200 is a long shot for .22, holding 1MOA impressive. I'll get to 100 today, 2" groups will have a smile on my face! ❤❤❤

      Sometimes the stars align lol but sometimes it looks like long range shotgun patterns

      @chrislang5659 5 месяцев назад

      @@BROTUNED I had decent universal alignment today. With the 597 I got 2 1/4 CCI Standard and 2 1/2 Norma Tac22 at 100 minus the obvious fliers. Smiling but as always, room for improvement!

    That’s some fine shooting at 200 there Ryan ! I like the split screen with the chrono. I was speed watching and missed the SD and extreme spread . 50 rounds gives a much better representation than most tubers post . I really like your chrono. You probably said so, but what kind is it.

      It’s the magnetospeed sporter that I modified to not be attached to the barrel

    Any wind moves .22's real easy out at 200, the leading cause of WTF's? Makes 200 yard Rams very challenging. SK LR is moving pretty slow. But you have done well.

    THAT AMMO IS MAKING YOU LOOK GOOD. NEVER SHOT MY BENCH REST MATCH RIFLE OUT THAT FAR BUT THATS IMPRESSIVE, RECENTLY ADDED A CHRONO TO THE GEAR AND HAVE BEEN TESTING 4 LOTS OF SK LR AS ITS MY NON COMP GO TO AMMO AND WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE CONSISANCY OF SPEEDS LIKE YOUR BATCH THAT MATCHED ITS ON PAPER PERFORMANCE GIVEN ITS CLOSE TO HALF THE COST OF MY COMP AMMO WHICH IS MIDAS + THAT SLIGHTLY BETTER BUT YOU PAY FOR THAT. Your ES was very similar to what I got and expect at 50m would. Love you work.

    Also my best long range ammo, don't need the enlarged chrono.
    Extractors are a distraction you don't need, still good shooting.

      Thanks for your input I appreciate that. Ya I will be changing them out when I find the factory ones. I moved a bunch of my stuff around in my house and lost track of them. So the hunt continues and I’ll get them back in my rifle asap

    What extractors did you put in? I had the same issue and had to hand file the chamfer on the extractors I got

  • @rustynut1967

    The chrono enlarged is good but not necessary. I never had a problem seeing it before.

      Thanks for your input. It doesn’t bother me to keep it as long as it’s what you’d like to see.

    Have you ever taken your extractor off? It really really looks like you have them on the wrong side. Sharp one goes to the exit port side. Looks like your strong extractor is on the left side.

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  2 дня назад

      That’s how they were. But I got a set of Volquartsen exact edge extractors and still had a bit of an issue. So how I fixed the issue was using the sharp ejection port side one of the Volquartsen and the inside extractor is the factory cz and it’s very rare I have an extraction issue.

    Have you had an Arken SH4 J to compare the Discovery to? I’m looking at both of those now

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  5 месяцев назад

      I have the sh4 gen 2 version and the discovery beats it that’s why it’s on my cz. I also prefer it because of its reticle between my razor hd and Arken and Ed PRs I chose to use the discovery Ed PRs

    I wander if Volquartsen will exchange their extractors if they come out with a gen 2

      I don’t know. I feel bad about it because they sent them to me free and honestly now I can’t recommend them.
