I was just like you when I started my natural hair journey. I’ve always done my and other people hair. However, when I became natural I was stuck. I had the same mentality re the manageability of my hair🧐. Once I saw how beautiful and how versatile my/our hair is, I fell in love with my hair. I no longer wanted to wear it straight. I love love my natural CURL pattern. I found all kinds of hairstyles to do. My hair is my pride. Definitely!

i dont like doing my hair, and i've learned that by leaving my hair alone for long periods of time has helped me grow my hair really long... I'm now at the point where I want to present my hair in a cute style but still leave it alone, but I'm constantly in this vicious and miserable cycle where Im not as creative, it takes a large chunk of time that I dont have , and it physically hurts. This is SO encouraging.. and I absolutely love the pieces of hair you add to the buns area. I'll recreate this
It is so true that when you take care of your natural hair it allows you to get to connect with yourself. I could french braid other people hair now I can do mine. I don’t see nappy anymore I see healthy hair and edges. I feel cuter everyday
