  • There may be situations when running a strategy where you wish to intervene in some way, for example, stop some rules from firing or submit additional bets. This video explores a way you can do that whilst keep the main functionality of the strategy in place and running.

Hi there, is there a way to cancel Back bets to keep firing?
Let's say after backing 3-4 runners the automatic system to reset/stop activating anymore the Place back bets rule. I tried to use your new mothod above but it's no working...

Although one can use this type of technique there's no need to.
In the rule that fires in the back bets, create a condition that monitors the number of matched bets. Use either 'Market Bet Count' or 'Selection Bet Count', whichever is most appropriate.

@@betyourlife Thanks, Alistair. Unfortunately, it wasn't straight forward thing to do. I tried the 'Market Bet Count' as I needed my rule ‘Place back bets’ to be cancelled after the fourth matched back bet... But the automation kept on placing more bets, even if the criteria for maximum number of bets has been reached. When I tried to add Market Bet Count condition in the back bets rule, then the automation does not fire a single bet... So, I created a new rule within the same strategy - Cancel bets - and chose back bets and add condition Market Bet Count =4 but the automation continues to place more bets as soon as some runner hit the odds I have stated in my strategy. I just don't know why this is keep on happening. Alistair, will you try to explore this, for educational purpose?

I was sure I had already done videos that show how to cancel the unmatched bets by making use of the 'Market Bet Count' condition. Sure enough, take a look at these which should be enough to point you in the right direction...
