According to this reviewer, nearly everything about this car is "okay" or "pretty decent". We recently bought a mint used one (2010 FX35) and I can tell you this: My wife and I have owned maybe 10 cars between the two of us through our lives, including Corvette, Camaro and Firebird, and this is hands-down the best quality, most exciting, comfortable, luxurious and powerful vehicle we've ever owned. There is NOTHING about it that is just "pretty decent". The styling, with the snake-like nose and low roofline, is stunning, the interior is plush, comfortable, luxurious, inviting and anything but outdated (what does that mean anyway?), the engine has enough power and torque to cruise easily at 80 all day long on the highway and blow away most anything on the turnpike, and the handling is so tight and solid it feels like it's on rails, even blasting through the twisty switchbacks of northern AZ's mountain roads. I would call the FX35/FX37/QX70 series "luxury sports cars with room for luggage!" I've always been a sports car guy, but this is the one SUV I ever actually liked and that (to me) didn't look like a "doofus-mobile". An added plus is that there seem to be very few of these on the road, so it really stands out among the zillions of Kia Sorrento's, Mazda CX-5/9's, Toyota Highlanders, Jeep Grand Cherokee's and similar generic and boring designs. If you want a stand-out quality car and also like to "stand out" from the crowd, this is one to consider...
I just purchased a 2017 QX70 after having wanted one of these since the first one was launched in 2003. I absolutely love it. I agree, it has a sports car feel with extra cargo room. I've always had 2 door coupes up until now, so it's nice to be able to say, "I'll drive", when going out with a crowd.

I just traded my X5 BMW for a 2014 QX 70 and couldn't be happier. I went for comfort and have not been disappointed.
Randall Miller dude i have questions for you, 1st of all your bmw was it a 2012 x5 or way older one ? 2nd how does it feel when you re driving and passing bumps in the road ? is that car really comfortable?
The X5 was older(2005). As for the comfort in the QX70, I couldn't be happier. I tried the RX350. the MDX, and the Highlander and this car was the nicest of all of them. A little stiff, but I expect that as it is a SUV.
This car never age. It still prettier than most 2021 sports SUV.

Which is a good thing for me. I have a FX50s and love that it appears to be rare.
I drive a 2007 FX35 and I really like the design of this car the one thing I can't get over that I'm still working on with my vehicle is why they didn't put HIDs or LEDs in the fog lights they're still using halogens in 2015.
Because the car is based on the platform from 2009 when no other competitors had LED fogs and they barely changed it since 2009
