This series has inspired me to get back into golf. I've been playing half self taught, half watching your videos for guidance. Took a hiatus with a new restaurant starting up, got back in to it last week, played like crap, went to the range the other day to put into practice the advice I was given by other golfers, still played like crap, watched one little 3 year old video from you, went back to range and starting smashing shots down range and honestly can't wait to play with the guys that gave me the crap advice just to show them how full of shit they are. Great stuff, enjoying watching you out and playing. Cool to see it all on course and hearing the learnings etc
I really enjoyed this video Rick, I think this length and edit did the 18 holes justice. And great comeback on the back 9!
What a bloody fun round. thanks for sharing! I almost fell out my chair on the second whiff.
Thanks for the video. Just wanted to say I enjoyed the editing a lot more in this video. Taking a little bit more time with each shot, showing more emotion etc. The extra 4 minutes really make the video that much better. Helps you connect with Rick. I look forward to next weeks :)
Your videos inspired me to get into golf in the first place, and now have inspired me to both stay in golf and on how I can correct errors in my game. Keep it up Rick!
Its nice to see an explosive round(definitely not used in a positive manner) and show us that we aren't alone. Golf is so humbling
Rick, I have to say it is refreshing your honesty on your videos. You could very easily delete out the bad shots but you keep them in. I am absolutely hooked on your videos. If you ever in South Afroca give me a ring, I would rather play a round with you than a round with Tiger woods. That's how much I enjoy your videos😁😁
Maybe the most relatable game of golf I’ve ever seen on this channel 😂😂😂 what a game!
Great vlog Rick! It's cool to see your journey to hitting that under 75 goal.
The course looked great, but certainly tough conditions. You did well to adjust along the back 9.
Fair play for this one Rick, nice to show that even if your a pro golfer you can still have bad days, you didn’t have to upload this but you still did love the honesty! 👍🏻
All I can say Rick is welcome to a links golf course, I’ve been playing off of them my hole golf career and also that you got off quite well. I was playing in 70 mph head wind the other day in a competition
Watching you and Finchy makes me realize golf is a game that we can all play . . . good or bad I appreciate your taking the time of filming for us all
you finally get it out! thumbs up! hey this guys luck is turning around! and then your bag falls over...LOVE IT!
You opened yourself up. Cool. Shot an 82. Makes me proud of my honest 92. Keep it 💯 Rick Shiels! Guy, you the man too.
Great stuff! I have a hard time pulling my head out of the dumps with a poor front 9 (or a poor previous hole...). Appreciate the open and honest take at a super difficult course. Makes us mortals feel better :). Keep it up!
Rewatching this and crazy how much the production value has increased in the break 75 videos. Come such a long way! A revisit is in order maybe @Rick Shiels Golf?
Absolutely loved this video! Class to watch and a great laugh in the front 9 with a hellish comeback on the back 9 well played Rick all things considered!
impressive mindset after 9 holes, this is what makes golf so beautiful. Never give up and enjoy the game. Nice series.
