Nah, I'll say this, Mario Kart DS is my favorite and I won't say it's not overrated but its Rainbow Road is amazing. I think it would be cool if someone made a mashup of Mario Kart DS's and DD's Rainbow Road.

The only obstacle is a single chain chomp that barely poses a threat. MK8 at least has some kind of challenge.

Shame they took the only thing which was iconic for the original, its lenght, away and cut it down to 1/3 of its original lenght. In my mind, the Wii's Rainbow Road will always be the true best. I also actually somewhat dislike mk8d because it has more complicated item systems, you can pick up 2 items at a time so you don't have to be strategic with your items, the items are more complicated, you basically don't get punished for being his by stuff or falling off and overall it requires far less skill than the Wii. Also you have to pay for tracks like wtf
