Super Bell Subway connects a list of tracks. It even connects Sunshine Airport and shows you a whole map of the city where Toad Harbor is, connecting several areas
First, the connected tracks in Double Dash makes me so happy. I loved the heck out of Super Mario Sunshine doing it, and thought that was the only game with that genius idea. Second, I'm not totally sure why, but hearing Totaka's song in a Mario game (especially a high-energy racing game) just gives me so much nostalgia
The best thing that could happen in Mario Kart is having all of the worlds I'm every MK game connected together similar to what was done in MK: Double Dash.
In Mario Kart 8, there is a box and kart in Ribbon Road foreshadowing Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. You can see it if you look behind you when you are using the kite.
Most of these are really cool easter eggs, but is the giant ? block on the Mario Galaxy track in MK8 or the starbits in MKWii Rainbow Road actually easter eggs?
You forgot the launchstars from mariogalaxy on the fences in wii rainbowroad, The shine from mario sunshine in sunshine airport and the 2 tracks from mariokart 8 from captian falcon games(mute cite and big blue) But for the rest, awesome video👏👍
Even as a kid I saw that you could see other map locations crossover. It is small details like that which made me so fond of MKDD and it's still my favourite Mario kart to this day.
