The Mug/Muggy definition is slightly incorrect - Mug = A person who is stupid and easily deceived by other people. Muggy = unpleasantly warm and humid weather.
As a Brit, muggy is a weather slang term. It refers to humid type weather. I know mug is an idiot but never heard muggy in that context. I would say this should be catagorized as 'modern slang' or 'gangster wannabe slang'. These aren't all traditional slang terms.
He couldn't get it because the presenter is pronouncing 'arsed' with a non-rhotic UK dialect. Key is hearing it as /ahssed/, which is not how Americans say 'assed'. But he has heard people with non-rhotic UK dialects say 'asked' that sounds like /ahssed/ to him so he thinks the presenter means 'asked', not 'arsed' or 'assed'..
as a Brit of 47 years, i've never heard 'Wasteman', all refrences of it i find are from the last few years, this is not British slang, this is Millenial slang.

Tristan educating Keegan on the term "waste man" ... 👀 ..... ok. Leave somethings alone. Don't try and snatch up everything and claim it, especially when you have no knowledge. Keegan was more acurate than the presenter. Bye Tristan.

He literally wanted to learn it, I LOVED it!! ❤
Always preferred Key in Key and Peele, glad he’s getting his props
Was his jaw swinging.
can't be arsed --cc reads asked
Wow not a single question about the movie when you have such a great actor and personality sitting right there?
That's okay, there is so much press it is nice to have a break
this is a certain section of the interview.
He asked him questions about the movie in another section
It's a shame they didn't have the content of the video plastered all over the thumbnail in massive letters. I feel deceived.
Bro....can you read? You clicked on a video where the title includes "guesses UK slang". Doesnt say "interview"
Leave it, mush
Keegan is the best

"Wasteman" comes from West Indian slang but it wouldn't be the first time the British stole something from the West Indies...🥲

Infering we British stole people from the West Indies?
Not how it worked if so. The West Indians brought a lot of their culture here though.

Call me racist i guess.
Was it because of your racism that you really never expected this guy to be so intelligent?
