With its enormous basalt stacks, roaring Atlantic waves, and stunning panoramas, Reynisfjara is widely considered to be the most beautiful of Iceland’s black sand beaches. However, please take the warning signs seriously. Sneaker waves make Reynisfjara beach also one of the most dangerous destinations in Iceland and many people have already drowned there.
