Just subscribed, this is the first video of yours I've seen. What an amazing job! Well done. Keith Jarrett is *so* difficult to transcribe, in my experience. Not as much the transcription of notes themselves in terms of explicit "note value" in the very mathematic aspect of, for example "arpeggiate a first inversion C minor chord followed by a descending G7 arpeggiation / AKA, Eb > G > C < B < G < F < D" or whatever the notes are in that surface-level way, that I don't find nearly as difficult as his articulation. Jarrett will incorporate inflections, so to speak, that are so... for me they are particularly difficult to emulate. Transcribing Jarrett is difficult across the board relative to most music in my experience, but my point is that the particularly difficult aspect to acquire with Jarrett is his articulation and those more nuanced aspects, not that I've acquired them myself.
Thanks for listening and subscribing. What fascinates me most about Keith Jarrett is his exquisite voicing. As you say, he incorporates inflections, which I love, too. You know, this "I'm through with love" has both elements. Yes his articulation is difficult, but I want to emulate everything about him because I'm a Keith-addict!
