All the sterling is in part 1 this time, but I have pewter to show you!
I hope that the first broken tea pot sells as a replacement part to someone who wants a foot or the finial.
Was I wrong to say that the "Georgian" style never really caught on in America, or maybe I should say that Georgian style is kind of dated and hasn't really caught on in our current generations? I feel that Georgian style homes and furniture was mostly an East Coast thing, and I live in the Southwest, so I might just never come across it.
When I talk about the value of the butter dish and I say at $495 it is 60-80% overvalued, I mean it is 400-500% overvalued. I just can't math.
I meant it when I said I have an interest in pewter. I might focus more on it in the future. One thing I didn't mention is that OLD pewter has lead in it. This is a relatively modern tea set, so it won't have any lead and will be safe to drink from.
