It must feel good that everything is in order now, so that you can start firing when it gets cold outside. Think so well when you can sit and enyoj by the fire and talk all three together. Hugs to you all. Britt o Gunnar.
I don’t know anything about these fires but it looks so cosy I’m sure you’ll all be so snug and warm in winter. My dog has just turned 7 and he’s still my baby boy and always will be. Was lovely to see the shadow of dear Sammy 💜 Love and blessings to you all xx
Everyone will love this stove once winter sets in! Sammy, Kassie, and likely even the birds, depending on how cold it gets in their area. Of course you both and Maida will make your orbit around it. You'll see! There's a reason why the hearth sounds so much like the heart.
Beautiful stove!! What an upgrade from that old "coal mine"!! Definitely you got a good, safe investment worth the ouch! expenditure. Nice, artistic Sammy cameo lol Dennis, you could not have planned that better 😄 And Kassie is all of us so happy w your dream homestead 🤗😍💖
Hello Dennis and Kullike, I am so happy for you that you got the new Fire Oven installed, and made your first wood heating. I was kind worry about you! But now is all fine! I saw Sammy the the Boss comes, how cute. How is Meida? Is she now used to the new place? I wish you all the Best at your new Place!
Might be a bit costly but good reliable heating is important. Over here you can wing it. Canada? Not so much. I remember your videos from last winter. My gosh. Gotta be prepared.
Absolutely superb 👌 Wood burners are a long-term home investment and while they do come with a set up cost, they can in fact help you save money in the long term by helping reduce your reliance on rising energy tariffs. They look great too 🙂
Great investment. Is it possible to roast a chicken in there? I also have a built in fire place in my house with chimney and everything but never used it!
This looks a lot safer. The stove is further from the wall and that looks like a double-wall chimney pipe which only requires 3 inch clearance. Also creosote does not build up on double-wall chimneys as they do on single wall so safer all around . Enjoy your new cozy fireplace.
Anyone know how long the cats last on the blaze kings and if there's a way to make them if say the company goes under or stops making them later for any reason? With that said, anyone know if these are even less efficient than an old school stove with the cat bypass engaged? Wonder what kind of burn times it gets with vs without the cat? What kind of temps could I expect with it cranked all the way down low? Keep wondering if I could get a bigger stove and get way longer burn times and still working the cat efficiently for a well insulated 1200 sq ft house. Thanks for any insight as it will be greatly appreciated
Those are all great questions which I would like to know the answers, too. I think the combustor lasts 2 to 3 years if using quite a lot but is quite expensive to replace. If they were to stop selling for some reason, hopefully some other company would make some kind of replacement but who knows for sure. This is my first woodstove of any kind but my wife Has had conventional wood stoves before I met her and they were either too hot or too cold and you had to keep putting wood in day and night. The Blaze King is very good at holding the heat at a lower or medium heat and go through night without putting wood in steady. They make Bigger stoves with longer burn times as far as I know. Maybe other Blaze King owners can answer these questions better.
@@rdreamhomestead1451 do you have to let the fire burn out to remove the ashes? I can't imagine how to remove ashes on the newer stoves without letting it burn out. My old Ashley I'm trying to replace they just fell through into the ash pan but can't see how any newer stove can. I'm wondering if I need to oversize the stove and just warm the house good and let it cool then fire up another load after it cools off enough instead. These stoves seem so different from the old ones. Also, I've heard these might dirty the cats fast running low and slow. How low and slow can you run the blaze King and keep the chimney clean? Can you crank one all the way down most the time and be good? I can't find this info anywhere. Only get responses from owners that never try it or assumptions without even owning one so far. Thanks for any help. Been wanting to get one ASAP
It can be used as a fire starter as long as not glossy colored paper. A certified installer for blaze king told me that after he installed it. I will call him later on to confirm this again. Thanks for saying that. I did read the manual a couple times and it says not to burn as a fuel source any kind of paper or cardboard. Fire gets way to hot and harmful emissions can occur.
Lovely looking stove. Sounds like it will do its thing. Sammie was cute strolling by. Everyone will enjoy the heat this Winter.
I'm happy you have will have safe heat this winter, much love. ❤
Looks great!!! - Stephanie
Thanks so much!!
Love seeing Sammie in the furnace glass! He’s thinking “What’s this? A nice warm fire? I’m in”! It looks really 👍!
“The pup” WILL love it!!!! My 2 lay in front of ours with their tongues out!!! Lol
Aww looks cozier now! , I'll bet its really cold in the mornings up there in Canada this time of year !
It is not too bad yet but will be very soon.

I love when you call Kassie 'the pup' She is a beautiful girl. Very nice stove, it must be so nice and toasty.
It really is!

It is keeping us nice and cozy as its getting cold at night.
Congratulations.
Thank you!
Looks great 👍
It’s a good one for the winter? It’s beautiful!
Will it heat the whole house?
Yes and yes
I predict Sammy will be enjoying the fires most of all!
First night we had a fire, The boss was warming himself on the sofa in front of the fire.
Blaze Kings are great wood burners. I had one and loved it. The one you have there will heat the whole house I bet :o)
We have already tried it out a few times and it is great.

Yes, everything is fine now and Meida is still trying to adjust.
It’s a great investment that will pay for itself.
So excited for you.
Can you rent out the City house and stay permanently?
Still have to work out there for awhile yet but would love to be able to do that.
What you mean permenatly? They moved out from their old home and now on their New home. This is not a vacation home the new home.
👍hi,folks, looking mighty fine,👍.
Thanks 👍

Yes, have to be prepared in extreme climates like here.

Very true!
any video with a german shepherd in it gets a thumbs up
Great investment. Is it possible to roast a chicken in there? I also have a built in fire place in my house with chimney and everything but never used it!
You could but it is not recommended because grease would build up in the chimney
@@rdreamhomestead1451 , Oh thank you! I wasn't thinking of any consequences, my bad!
Wonderful🔥you'll be toasty warm. Curious how Sammie the boss is doing and is Meida more comfortable and happy now.
Sammy is very happy here but Meida is still adjusting.

You are correct!
What is the advantage of blaze king compared lopis new big stove or Avalon Olympic?
I only know about this new Blaze King and still learning.
Best of luck very nice unit

I believe you're not supposed to burn colored paper in catalytic stoves check your owners manual
