Batman didn’t wear Jordan’s in 1989 he wore Nike Air Trainers, but Batman In 1992 wore Jordan 6s I believe.
Correct. Chris just asked which shoes were worn in each movie. He didn’t specify which brand - but if we’re being technical, Jordan Brand didn’t exist in 89 or 92 so they were both Nikes.

Every time I second guess getting a sneaker, your thumbnail and b-rolls always convince me to pull the trigger on getting the sneaker! After having my Goretex 5 order cancelled, I willfor sure be getting this pair of all black sneakers. 12's are the most comfortable retro! Keep up the great work, I love your content!

When I first saw these, I thought they were ok and didn't see them close up. When you showed the back of them and I looked at the materials close up with that oil slick leather,I was like damn, those are nice. The color of the Taxi yellow is unique and I'm all about quality of materials. Great shoe. Great video.

Just got these from Foot Locker. Got lucky with these and the Chrome 6's. Didn't expect to get both, but a welcome surprise. Great review, Batman is exactly who I thought of. Could also be Black Adam too.

Mine just got here today. Ordered a pair for my niece too. The pics I've seen prior and vids does the shoe no JUSTICE until the SUN hits it. I took it outside around 3 this afternoon. Man, definitely a sleeper. I own the masters and was able to compare. The taxi feel lighter than those. 7.5/10. 12s have always been my grails
These 12s are beautiful. The black upper material almost reminds me like the material they used on some of the pairs of the 2018 Gym Red 12s. The material along with the pop of the taxi color looks so cool. Well, I’m a Steelers fan so maybe I have a little bias too. 😂 These will be purchased. Thanks for this review and love the Stranger Things sweater. 👍

Basically the Jordan 12 The Masters, If you can't find these in your size, maybe try to get those. I have them both and find The Masters more wearable to me, however they are way more expensive so feel free to make your choice.
All black with the small accents looks slick 🔥
For my money this is one of the most perfect unusual combinations of shoe and color. Jordan + Batman in this style just works.
If I'm not mistaken I think he wore the Jordan 6 in the Batman returns movie. picked up the play off 12s, stealth 12s and I'm definitely getting this taxi 12s.
Snagged a pair of the 25 years in china lows on sale for the Nike early Black Friday thing and wore em for like 3 days straight lol. I was debating between going for these or the 11s but I’m definitely gonna try and add these absolute UNITS to the collection

@@m9nights994 you are better off using the desk top but go to finishline and go to the status bar and go to rewards once you do that you should see a few pages of status rewards, However if you have enough points you have access

I just bought this pair of Jordan 12 Black taxi for myself and I love them!! They are my second pair of Jordans, I still have my first Jordan 13 Wheat from 2017 I think? Very nice video and review!

Not big on mostly all black or white shoes but these do look really good. I love the 12s esp in winter because it’s like a heavy duty sneaker / boot hybrid maybe swap out the black laces for some gold / yellow.
And Batman is awesome by the way… I do recall hearing Air Trainers is what Michael Keaton wore in the late 80’s bc Jordan brand didn’t exist yet but Nike was trying to get traction as a brand… and boy did they ever bc of one special Basketball player aka Goat 🐐

For me, I was good with the Payton 12. These are the Concord 12's but with Taxi. The hits of yellow just aren't enough imo. I think they should use the OG 12 color blocking, but then just give us all the colors. The upper can be white or black.

In 1989 he wore Nike Air Trainers and in 1992 he wore Air Jordan 6’s, Playoff colorway.

Glad I copped the 2009 Cherry 12’s back when they retroed for retail, back when shoes were easy to get. I paid only $140 for them in store just sitting there no one seemed to even want them, size 11 and all. I remember everybody was buying and wearing the 2009 Flu Games, so I chosen to go the opposite route and go with the Cherrys, glad I did considering that those haven’t retroed since 2009. Wore them out till the soles separated lol
@@cactusjack2264 you sound silly saying cherry. The white and red 12 colorway matches the bulls colorway with Japanese flag. The white red 12 nicname is the Japan 12.
@@andrewchang7194 the white/red 12 has nothing to do with a cherry. The theme of the 12 and the colorway matches the bulls colorway with the Jpaanese flag. The nickname that fits them perfectly is the Japan 12.
I tried them on, it's a cool colorway, but it's a pass for me. I'd cop them if the tags were gold like Taxi.

I wish they would stick with the shape of the insoles like the originals and the few early retro runs of the 12. I prefer the EVA insoles. I don't like how the arch on the insoles ride so high. They need to glue the insoles down.
The tongues, I prefer the way the 2009 run of the tongues sit in place doesn't lean off to the side of the shoe. The 2022 playoff 12, my right pair leans more to lateral side. It might just be the fit, the materials used on the tongue and the amount of padding on the 2009 version is what I prefer. The newer remaster latest run of 12s fit differently. Now you have to lace up higher to keep them from heel slippage.
Those white/red (Japan 12) is what got me started liking Jordans. It's either hit or miss nowadays with the 12s.
Love your channel guys and no one goes into detail as much as Chris does about Polyurethane and EVA foams, and other stuff etc… he must’ve been a product guy or chemistry major in college lol 😂
I saw these, thought maybe, and this is the first video that mentioned Batman and now im leaning towards yes. I saw the plates were originally gold, which looked better imo and now they appear to be yellow, but no biggie and if I can, I’ll cop. If not, I’ll wait until the next one

These are clean imo. I love 12s , the 11s and 12s are my all the favorite Jordan models. Both of their original releases pretty much turned me into a sneaker-head in the 90s. With 12s I am mostly OG over anything else but i do make rare exceptions , I did pick up the Stealth 12s from earlier this year for example.
Like Chris i am usually not much of a fan of all black sneakers but i do like these. Just not sure I will go for them , recently hit on more pairs than i expected so trying to be more selective with the funds / pick ups ; so just not sure i will pull the trigger on these. I doubled up on the Playoff 12s and picked up the Stealth 12s , so i might be done with 12s for now until I try for the Maniere 12s (when they release) ; unless we get a surprise OG colorway between now and then.

Nike is so trash for releasing photos with actual precious metal color gold accents, then creating and sending put pre production pairs with the same real metal gold color, only to then release the actual shoes to us with horrid peepee yellow accents! I'm livid!
