If you are booked in business class, make sure when selecting a seat that you choose a seat number that is common across most aircraft types that the airline flies on that route. Sometimes airlines do equipment swaps either at the last minute or even a few times before departure. If you choose a seat number that is common across aircraft types, the computer will by default reseat you in the same seat number on the new aircraft type. If you choose a seat number that doesn't exist on a smaller aircraft (which has a smaller business class cabin) that the flight has been swapped to, you may find yourself without a seat assignment (unless you proactively keep checking your seat assignments and select a new seat if this occurs) and some cases downgraded to economy.
What do you mean seats that is common across most aircraft types?
That’s true. Last time I was in economy and selected a standard seat. However, the airline changed the aircraft type but kept my seat number. The best part is that the same seat number on the new aircraft type is a Preferred Seat, which means that I got upgraded to a better economy seat at no cost.
Thank you for sharing your insight
Hey Ricky. I was just on you website reading a article named “Best US accounts for Canadians”. Very informative but is outdated, CIBC is the best option now instead of BMO
As far as Suite Talking. I hold gold status with both Hilton and Marriott. Based on my experience, I have better success rate with Marriott than Hilton for upgrades. As a result, I only book Hilton when I have no other choice.
NEXUS is not ONLY open to Canadian citizens, but also Canadian Permanent Residents. Not sure if it works for American green card holders, though.
Wait is this true????
American Green card holders can also apply, from what I have seen on the website.
4:53 wonder if people outside are lining up to use the lounge shower. "Whats the hold up here??" "some guy is filming a youtube video" "in the shower!?"
Missing 2nd window 😉. I made that mistake once.
No immediate window to look out from
Travel insurance is mandatory to some countries as far as I know traveling without insurance is more and more illegal.
In Europe, public transportation is the cheapest way, as long as you don't have too much luggage. If using AirBNB or hotel, just ask them the best way. Be careful of scammers, like in Prague.
How do we in western Canada get the Nexus Card? And the tsa per check card?
Do we have to go to the US to do our in person interview?
I was booked just before Covid shut everything down, but now just waiting to get into a in person interview. So where or how do we get one as Canadians ?
Apply online, pay and schedule your appointment. Edmonton airport now does interviews, YVR does interviews and in Birchbay, just outside of Bellingham do the interviews. Googling “how do I get a nexus card” gives you the steps.
How do we do the nexus interview? To get the nexus card
how do I claim flight insurance on my TD aeroplan infinite priv. ?
You can start by calling the number on the back of your card. Take whatever option is to speak to a human. They may hook you up with a number for the insurance company. You could try searching it online, too. Make sure you have all documentation, because they will want reservation numbers...and in the case of lost bags they will want the report number from the baggage desk, etc.
No window
You're right, one time I brought the wrong size luggage and I died
You never know 😆
2:28 …airbus A350 lul

If you go to any religious building please respect the religion. Like now that I am Catholic I am no longer allowed to accept communion at an Eastern Orthodox Church which is where I been baptized.
