Wow... So much of this at one time or the other, we all feel... All humans. Obviosuly women feel it from their perspective, but we all struggle, uniquely and the same. Compassion and grace, and the willingness to listen is th epath to healing and understanding. Thanks to everyone contributing to this amazing version of an amazing song.
Im a women and feel this song im not a man but i can relate to this song im a single mum of 4 so im mum and dad. Dax your music really hits the heart your amazing keep making brilliant song. But could you get your crew to make a song about being a women as we got a lot of pressure on us when we are single lady.x
I never had a father he died when I was 9 and I never meant before then either me. So my mom was my mother and father. She worked hard her whole life. Never complained. Now she's 64, living with me along with my son who I have full custody over. I also have a 7 month old daughter. Her mother and I just split up. I work everyday even weekends 90 hour work weeks just to be financially okay but I'm still struggling to get ahead along with my mental health I've always got to be strong so my son and daughter never see me weak. This song hits home cause its exactly how everyone including myself trying to get by, and be the main provider in life feels.
There’s an important difference in how support is given. Many women have a strong support network checking in on them, while men often don’t receive the same kind of attention. It’s surprising how some women struggle to let men have their own space or moments of vulnerability. This can lead to men suffering in silence because their feelings often get overshadowed.
I sent my wife the original version of this song and her response was that I'm anti-women. I couldn't believe it. Then I thought about it and realized that is what is like to be a man. We're told constantly to share how we feel and then those feelings are either rejected, made fun of, or used against us. That's why most men since say anything about/show their feelings to anybody.
It’s not so much as sad but😢 disappointing, men are taught not to show weakness or disappointment! Instead show strength and power! But the power and strength is to stand up and speak! Say you are failing, admit that you need help, care that you do not know how to ask but show! Live is not what we have but what we can give! It might not be much but a single word is what got me home!
No matter how many times I listen to this song I shed tears. Such a true and amazing song

That is why this song is so important. Even in the midst of hearing this song you found a way to make it about being a woman. You still don't get it!
