'Hey guys this is Will from basic gear review' .... will now only be remembered in our dreams and nightmares
SirPlayBassalot F
honestly better intro

Will actually lost his ability to say that intro due to a curse cast upon him by a Bog Witch. Really tragic story actually. Thanks for the support, guys.
the slap tone sounds exactly like a midi bass
Those strings are soundig really good! Bass and player of course as well!
The 5th or is it referred to the 6th string, wants to be left alone. The low tension isn’t translated with the tape wound. No definition. Or is it just me? Cheers
Not just you. Sounds like it was hitting the pickup cover. Always thought more than 5 strings was pushing it.
Tbh these pickups leave something to be desired but in the room it sounded really good
see my comment above, I can only concur - that B string is the deal-breaker on this otherwise great string set. same unclear-muddy thing happening on the B string of a 35" scale Yamaha with this set
man, I have the same set and while it sounds great E to C, the B string was unusable. No matter the setup on a Yamaha TRB JP (which will sound piano-clear all along the neck with any other string set) the B string just sounds muddy, unclear and has funny overtones above the fifth fret and has that plasticky noise from the third fret like on this video on 0:34 and 2:54. I have tried many luthiers, playing soft, playing hard, EQ-ing it out, waited for the break-in period, since I loved the overall feel of these strings, but no luck with the B string after all... just an inch from the perfect string set :( did you have any similar experience with other nylon tape la bella B strings?
My only issue is that i wish you used more of an "every man" bass, I watched this video since seeing the strings on Amazon.
Hey Nick this is Jasmin! great playing and cool to find you here! I was just going to order the copper tape wound nylons- medium tension- for my jazz bass - when I decided to listen to a few more examples here on RUclips:-) I hope that they'll sound as good as the ones that you are playing in the video....I heard that the copper strings are little warmer -so I'm excited to have Favio put them on my bass
Are you still in town ?
Did you have to alter the nut at all? I want to put these on my acoustic 6 string but I’m afraid the high string gauge won’t fit at all
Do these last any longer due to crap not getting in the windings? I could see them being like the ultimate coated string in a way
yes they do but they a l w a y s sound like dead roundwound strings
@@JimDragonBass True. I can't see these replacing fresh rounds, but they don't sound like super yucky late-stage dead strings either
Last way longer but these White Nylons were brighter than their gold or black by far. I liked them more than flats actually.
@@JimDragonBass What is dead may never die.
Yo is that my pizza delivery boy at 1:38?
めっちゃ反りそうだな
Please stop it with the self depreciation about the playing. It only makes us that honestly struggle feel worse.
