  • I love this place! Went out on July 4th for an epic weekend of clearing and riding the beautiful mountain trails here in Washington! Cleared a bunch of trees and had a ton of fun out riding with some new friends. Put down 212 miles on some of the best single-track Washington has to offer.

    Bill dart saw mount with a sthil top handle. Never leave home without it. Btw the trailhead is 15 mi from home, so there. Lol. Great snowmobiling up there in the winter.

    7:09 GoPros love to overheat! Thanks for cutting the tree back off the trail a ways, instead of leaving it so close to the trail that people can hit it. A big group that does a lot of trail clearing up there always has a big discussion about it every year. They do it to match the USFS standard, which is to cut it several feet back from the centerline of the trail on both sides.

    12:03 This section through the rock garden is brutal after a long day of trail riding. The last two or three times I've been on that trail, it's been down hill on it after doing a big loop up there.

    I was out on the same trail system the same weekend. I had a blast on my KTM 450 EXC-F.
    Maybe we'll cross paths out there sometime. That trail system is my favorite because for the most part it's not terribly technical, but still has epic scenery,

    Great vid! Subscribed. I live in the area. Hotter than the hubs of hell up there ATM. Powers that be are probably going to close it down due to fire danger soon (DNR site listing Fire danger as HIGH to VERY HIGH). CHEERS!

      Thanks! It is very hot out, was over 100 this week out there! Its crazy how fast it changes, camping 4th of July weekend fire danger was low and we had fires at camp, few days later its high!

    Killer drone shots. What drone are you using? Active track in the first sequence? My older Mavic Air would lose me behind those trees.

    • @DWidrickAdventures
      @DWidrickAdventures  Месяц назад

      I'm using a DJI Mini 4 Pro. The active track works pretty well as long as you aren't hidden for too long, but generally it keeps a good track of you. I have had it lose me a couple times though lol. Fits in my bag really nicely, real small and compact.

      @@DWidrickAdventures That's what I like about the Air, size. But I'm looking to upgrade soon. I was looking at the mini as well. Thanks!
