Amazing photos! How does the 20mm f1.4 compare to the 10-20? Would you shoot more open with quicker shutter speed on the f1.4? IS there an advantage to shooting at f/4.5 on the 10-20?
I'm always around 1/5's Shutter Speed, Aperture F/4.5, I definitely recommend using a tripod with these settings if your just starting out or have never done hand held long exposures
@@Boogie.702 im guessing the 2nd are edited photos. Thanks for the info. Im guess i just have to practice both my photography and editing skills once i get my hands on the D5500 tomorrow.
@@heather333 and @Rodrigo i bought my 2nd hand D5500 2 weeks ago with its kit lens 18-105mm with 3k shutter count and still trying to get the hang of using its manual mode. Might probably get your recommended lens when i get better in nailing those focus and setting for each lighting.
Seriously, I’d love to visit there for the neon but I think New York or Tokyo are my Bucket List locations, never gonna happen though.
Tokyo would definitely be my dream location to photograph one day

I own the Nikon 20mm 1.8 and I use that one more for bokeh shots shooting wide open
Really awesome video 🔥🔥
Thank I really appreciate that 🙏🏽
Awesome shots dude
Thank you so much 🙏🏽
God D5500 user🙌🏻
Thank you
how about using kit lens? does it still work for night street photography?
I honestly never used it, when I got my camera I purchased the Nikon 10-20mm with it, is it that 18-55mm you have?
Am really impressed with how all the shots are sharp and vibrant...do u still recommend this camera over the canon t6i tho ?
I personally do, the Nikon D5500 is a beast of a camera
@@Boogie.702 ik then the nikon it is ...but how about the d5600 ?
@@k.k8791 if you really want the built in Time-lapse mode then get the Nikon 5600, but if you don't care for that the D5500 is the exact same camera
@@Boogie.702 i better save the extra 100$ for 50mm lense then .thnx bro
Good
Thank you 🙏🏽
Can I get similar shots with my Nikon d5200 ?
Yeah as long as you have a 20-24 megapixels camera and understand settings and composition you can create awesome photos
What is the setting that most used in this video? Could you share pls ?
I'm always around 1/5's Shutter Speed, Aperture F/4.5, I definitely recommend using a tripod with these settings if your just starting out or have never done hand held long exposures
My ISO is always around 100-200 never over 500 because they start to get noisy
Thank you

how did u change the color of ur photos the before and after?
I use Adobe Lightroom to edit all my photos
@@Boogie.702 nice bro thanks!

Debating if this or a canon that’s equivalent but can do both video and shoot
I own a Canon Rebel SL2 which I use specifically for my videos, but for photos it's hard to beat the RAW Files I get from my Nikon D5500
The leftovers 😂 sick shots bro
Haha that's all I get 🤣
Hi, im planning to buy a D5500 but are this photos raw or edited?
Both

@@krisbayona the raw files you get from this camera are very easy to edit they store so much information
@@heather333 I couldn’t agree more, I have the same combo 10-20mm and 35 1.8g
