That's my hood! 😍 Moved out to nearby but I still go back there every weekend. BLSC is the best old school shopping mall in the west, has a bit of everything. Sadly a lot of the uncle auntie shops move out or closed down due to high rent and ended up with many mobile phone shops and vege fruit shops which are all kind of sus! 😆🤫

I discovered your channel few weeks ago and have watched most of the videos. Loved the segment when you go eat with your sister. Always make my saliva drool. Loved my hawker centre food everytime I go visit Singapore with my Singaporean wife.
Welcome to boon lay shopping centre. A while back, i suggested this place to u to trick u to go film there as i havent been back for 3 years since moving to central area. I miss the place alot, but i also noticed many shops are new. The shop unit that has a high ceiling was a cassette shop owned by the landlord, now renting to the garment uncle. Everyday the cassette shop uncle will play alot of oldies for the chess players even though hardly anyone buys anything from him. I miss that uncle, i hope he is healthy and well. The cat was fed and taken care of by a lady living upstairs the shopping centre. This cat knows how to take the lift, once i took the lift and it followed me, i got off my floor and it also followed me out of the lift, i was worried it was not able to go back downstairs (i stayed on a very high floor) so i try to press first floor button for it but it strolled out of the lift and laid next to my gate. Next day saw it loitering around downstairs, I underestimated it. I hope everyone there is well and healthy
Correct me if I m wrong, but when I hung out in the west last time (lived in Boon Lay Dr and also hosteled at NTU), it was Jurong Point (the mall next to Boon Lay MRT) that seemed popular with foreign workers, definitely more so than Boon Lay Shopping Centre.
@@schoolneverteach I can’t correct you coz I also dunno. That’s why we put question mark haha. I guess they might appeal to foreign workers staying at different dorm areas!
