    I researched & invested in #5, the collapsible UST solar lamp several years ago. It's been thru alot of intrepid adventures & it worx Gr8! I highly recommend this specific Lantern for the Outdoorsman's Life...

    Lol, for the LuminAID PackLite the “con” is it floats upside down. Which is how it was designed.
    Why do the buttons need to be on the top when it’s floating? Turn it on, choose the light setting, and then put it in the water because it’s waterproof. There is no need to use any buttons after that.

    My Biolite stopped working within a month and that was without any use

    I got a pair of biolites a gift three years ago. They are absolute garbage. The solar panels never worked on either of them, right out of the box. The interface is the dumbest I have ever seen. They needed to make a 7 minute video on how to use the stupid thing. Seriously, who thought of putting so many functions on a single button? After a couple of years, one of them stopped taking a charge from the USB port. I'm still using the one of them, but I do not recommend them at all. I had LuminAids before and they were better in every respect.

      Sorry to hear that. And yeah, the single button thingy can be annoying at time.
