To whoever is reading this : May God bless you ! You’re gunna do great in life ! Put God first and everything will fall into place ! John 3:16 says , “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ! Wishing nothing but love , joy , peace, prosperity, faith, hope, etc. Have a blessed day ! God loves you so much :)

I’m with you! All of my undergrad career I shared rooms. Didn’t love it, but dealt with it to save money. I’m applying to law school for fall 2023, and I WILL be living alone. I feel like the law school study schedule won’t allow for distractions. I need to be able to study WELL at my house.

Whewww. Come on confirmation! The commute was the most important thing to me, behind price and not having a roommate. Cause this current DC market had me looking side ways. That and the HUSL housing budget. 😩

Distance is key….staying with my Sister in Maryland. Commuting from there to D.C. was TORTURE!!!!!! I just possibly found a place in D.C. around the corner from my law school(5-7 minute walk)…will be living with a roommate so rent is super reasonable 👍🏾😊

I’m graduating highschool CO’24 I already have my undergrad but Howard is my dream law school. I have been watching your videos and it’s given me confidence to know that there are other girls who look like me doing what I want to do when I get older . So thank you for your videos and inspiring to not give up.

Omg this video is super helpful and RIGHT ON TIME! I'm in the thick of apartment hunting for my move to Texas and it is NOT easy. After living alone for two years it is extremely difficult to think about potentially moving in with a stranger in a foreign city.

Do you recommend utilizing the Howard off campus housing site as a good place to search whether you want to be alone or find roommates? Any other sites or neighborhood you recommend looking into?

Do you think bringing a car to DC is worth it? I start at Howard Law in the fall and I’m not sure if I should bring my car or not
