  • In May this year Australian artist Ken Unsworth oversaw the installation of his iconic work 'Suspended Stone Circle II' within the Art Gallery of NSW contemporary galleries.
    Contemporary galleries
    With the gift of the John Kaldor Family Collection, the Art Gallery of NSW has the most comprehensive representation of contemporary art in the country from the 1960s to the present day.
    The contemporary galleries feature a vibrant selection of international and Australian contemporary art.
    Recently installed is Ken Unsworth's extraordinary 'Suspended stone circle II', one of the Gallery's most popular works, and newly acquired works by Ed Ruscha and Yinka Shonibare.

    Thanks for the great video! I have a simple question. Are those little rings are supported by anchors? I also study arts and I was wondering how those rings could support the whole weights.

    now if only you could do this in a cruise ship... which then sails out to rough seas.... people would pay for a ticket just to see the spectacle

      carmatic I will install it and call it "Clacking Stones". Now, to find a cruise line that'll allow it 🤔
