    It can be a devastating diagnosis, but one woman in the UK with early onset dementia does not want your pity.
    Wendy Mitchell was in her 50s when she was
    diagnosed and now at 62 she wants people to understand that dementia does not have to be the end.
    Throughout her illness she has changed from being an intensely private person to being one of the campaigners on Alzheimer's and one of first people to write a memoir as it takes hold of her mind.
