as a retired old school barber yes the buzzcut is a new beginning not just a haircut having done many over 50yrs and many on females it is indeed liberating so ladies get to that local old barber shop and get it cut you will not go back to long hair and of course you will support you local barber and i am sure you will have fun in the barbershop . you look great girl great vid spot on
As a barber, can you give advice on how to tell if a barber will be happy to do this for over 50 women?I have looked through the phone book and am amazed and saddened to see many advertise as being "Men Only". I knew of a lady who told me years ago she went to a shop that made fun of the ladies, except for one person and she made sure they would be in the day she went. Thx. I really appreciate your positive attitude!
Thank you and I cannot see myself EVER growing my hair out again. I trim my own hair and go to see my Barber in San Fransisco every few months so he can trim up around the ears. I love my hair, my barber and the experience!
I would recommend going into the shop and ask if they do women's hair. Just like tattoo shops, you need to make sure you like the vibe of the shop and the barber. If you don't get a warm fuzzy feeling, turn around and walk out. I hope you find a great barber soon!

Every now and then I watch buzz cut videos again, just because they are so fun to watch. I've wanted to do it for a long time, but never had the courage. Until May 2018, when I went from 6cm to 13mm. I found it a bit exciting, but it felt so good! About a year later I went to 10mm and have now been back to 6mm for quite some time. Yes, when the wind blows it is quite cold, so I always wear a beanie in winter. But I already did that when it was 'longer', otherwise I get an earache. I've had it for almost six years now and I haven't regretted it one bit. My mother really hated it at first, but the more she told me to let it grow, the more I ran the clippers over my head, that will teach her! 😂
I had a short pixie. My Hair grew past my shoulders in 3 years and I always bleach and brilliant blue manic panic. My hair faded and it was blonde and faded blue (blue never fully fades) and my beautiful natural silver/white/gray roots. For a second I thought I wanted Nikol Johnson's hair cut but I'm not one to fuss with curlers and style products so that's not good to work for me however I did cut 11 inches off myself. The length is great for a bob but I decided nope and I can't fix the color so it's time to start over! I've shaved my head so many times and it grows so long in about 3 years! It's time to go all natural! No more bleach and manic panic! Lol Thanks for the inspiration!

❤ I went looking at the clippers. Philips has many on Amazon. Im hoping you mention which one you bought? Im rocking the buzz cut. So far using my sons clippers. Kind of large n bulky. I also tried all the same hairstyles you tried on the past! Also thick hair. Nothing else really works for the thick hair like a good short style. Im with you! ❤❤❤

I have the cape, and also a weighted neck/shoulder thing. Stops anything going down your neck. I spin the cape around so that the longest side of the cape, is over where I'm cutting. So longer side to the back, when I'm doing the back of my neck.
I love women with buzz cuts. My wife also loves having a buzz cut. I am happy to be her barber.

Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
It's a weird combo of both - it's not really curly but not straight. I kinda look like a tumbleweed is attacking my head if I grow my hair out.
