Getting a buzz cut after Christmas, but leaving the top longer. Can't wait! Bought earrings today, haven't worn any for yrs. Got some makeup too! Can't wait to be bold and daring, yet feminine! Soooo tired of brushing, ponytails, hair in my face! Want to run in the wind, and not care about my hair! I'm a 59 yr old woman. It's time to be me!
How did it go?? Did you love the buzz cut. I'm dying to buzz cut my head but I also want to leave the top a little longer also.
I am 59 yrs old I just shaved my hair 2 days ago. This is like the third time I've done it in the pass couple of years. My friends and family always act like I'm crazy and have even said I need put on meds? Why are some people so weird about someone wanting to free their self of all that hair? I love it every time I do it.. They might say I'm weird ..but I think I'm classy"..

Do you live in the US Pam? I'm an American in NY. This type of Buzzcut isn't that common here. Americans seem to prefer longer hair, especially now in 2024 long hair is the trend. I love my hair super short. During this hot weather, I am going to use my clippers and buzz my hair as short as possible. I'm 80 years old and I think I look younger with a Buzzcut. And I get compliments! So keep cutting your hair the way you like it!
❤Im from NY age 66 years. Have loved pixie cuts as long as I can remember. I would grow out my thick wavy very Italian hair and everyone loved it but me! Five years ago I stopped worrying about what anyone says and went super short. Never felt as pretty! Never felt as confident and love that whenever I look in the mirror I look put together and never messy. Thick wavy hair can really get big and messy. I am much more content with my clipper short hair anyday! Go for it and don't look back❤

I’m 55 and got fed up of dyeing, blow drying, time wasting, making hairdressers appointments so I just got my hubby to shave my head, it’s the best feeling in the world not to have to give a shit about my hair!
The worst part is my head is so bloody cold!

I just shaved mine off and I look dreadful in it. But, the feeling of air on your neck is not like any other feeling. It's great!
I shave my own and I am 68 years old. I get so many compliments from women who love it but are afraid. Maybe one day they will do the same.
I am convinced - and I have no clue why - that a buzz cut looks better and more youthful on an older woman. I know that I have had my hair buzzed for almost a year now and I let it get a little longer here and again but I always feel more feminine when I buzz it short again! She looks great!

With every pass of the clippers you could see the years fall away. I like both the natural color and the end result. Mine is coming back after chemo and I am planning to keep it as short as hers because it is very liberating. If I want it longer I can throw on one of my wigs.

I love the cut and the color. But her natural color looked great, too. Thanks for telling us the guard sizes. I've been using the number 4 open on down to the 1 open. It's tricky cutting your own hair, but after twenty years, I think I've got the hang of it now. Sometimes I get a little carried away, but it grows back out in a week or so. I enjoy watching and learning how you cut hair. Thanks!

It took me 2.5 years to get a short pixie! Now it is super short using guards 2 & 4! Sides using the 2 top with the 4! Don’t know why it took so long! I am 82!

I am 80. Javelin natural black with grey braids halfway Down my back. Started growing from fairly short during Covid to this. It’s getting thin, never was. I am truly wanting this but my family loves the braids, esp my d-I -l who is a hairdresser and won’t touch it. I have been cutting it myself. Just don’t know whether to have my son do it or go to a barber. This lady is stunning

@@HFDZK Well, I sent a photo of it to my granddaughter and she did not like it much. The problem is that I will be 79 next month and a buzzcut would accentuate my receding hairline. My hair is already very short. I just like shocking people! 😂😂
