Salaam Brothers. I am a Muslimah who took shahadah at Masjid Mu'min in Los Angeles in 1977. Brother Bilal Philips and Brother Hakim Quick also graced us with their visit to our masjid during this time. We bought our hadith books of Bukhari, Muslim, and sunan Abu Daud, etc. published by Kazi publications in 1976. We were fortunate enough to have some very good brothers from MSA and abroad who gave us good knowledge about the deen of Allah. In the late 70's islamic books were beginning to be available in English. This brother interviewed gives a very good history of sunni/salafi influence in America.
This interview cleared a lot of things for me, I was aware of some of the issues discussed here but this made it more clear.. thank you so much and may Allah bless you all جزاكم الله خيرًا
This brothers story only solidifies why I don't associate myself with any groups. I agree totally that instead of bickering trivially amongst each other over who has more knowledge or whatever we should be dealing with the real issues of our time and support each other with that. We can't know it all therefore champion those brothers in their respective fields.
Barak Allahu Feek. Many Muslims really don't understand that people actually infiltrate Islam in order to destroy it from the inside. So instead of following the Sunnah, they follow the principles of these infiltrators and voila, the dawa gets destroyed and an entire cult is born. It's not the first time in Islamic history this has happened, and it won't be the last. So actually sticking to the Sunnah is safety. These people are absolutely infiltrators like any other, just like so many before and even now. So my position is if they want to argue they can do it by themselves. If they want to refute me I'm right here waiting, I ain't hiding. We need more Muslims to take brave stances in support of the Sunnah, not cower to protect their reputations. I can care less what they say about me, if I know that I stood up for the sake of Allah, I'm good with that. Don't forget to check out my youtube and please subscribe insha Allah.
Salam brothers. I dislike how the western media always talks about Muhammad Ali and Malcolm x being a part of Nation of Islam but they both fail to mention both left NOI for true Islam. Both became Sunni Muslims.
Alhamdu Lillah, yes, we all have our journey. The main thing is to always ask Allah for guidance and sincerity, and always seek the truth and accept your mistakes in humility.
I was thinking the same he has a lot of Noor on his face and seems generally always cheerful Allah humma barik , it's said that people with clean hearts free of envy and hatred retain youthfulness throughout their lives , it's not a hadeeth but just a saying allahu a'lam, Also about John fountain he has a calming vibe to him when he speaks , I just finished listening to this interview , absolutely loved it !!!👍🏼
OMG , 😂 allah loves this man !! his GF shia and his group was nation of islam and he was catholic but allah guid him to the right religion of jesus and muhammed PBOT ❤️
Yes, TBH I don't consider these people Salafi, not in the least. How can they be salafi when everywhere they go they destroy Salafiyah and give a very bad reputation to Islam?
There is no such thing as calling ones self "Salafi" in islam, that in it's self is an innovation, it came about centuries after the prophet (SAW) passed away.

Ma sha Allah, I love this brother. I like that he is honest and doesn't care about speaking against his former cult (troid) in his videos.
