Of course not everything will be the same, it has to be road legal. Its as close to a road legal race as you can get pretty much (for a manufacturing car), same design/body, basic equipment, racing seats.

CLK-GTR... to get in the car is near impossible.. so once you get in you stay in... then when you die, they wait until you have decomposed, they remove your bones and clean it up, ready for the next driver....!

He turned the headlight switch to "headlight" then pulled the headlight switch out 2 clicks, which makes every mercedes light up all the lamps, common to see in the cities with newbie mercedes owners/drivers.
Martin Israelsson Probably true but in normal cars 2 clicks turn on the fog lights and not all lamps, for sure not the reverse lights

Huge question.. does that car have the reverse lights stuck on like every other mercedez of that era when the tails lights stop light would be stuck on?
Oh man. I love that gear whine that comes with racecars. My old M3 track car used to whine like that and it made me smile every damn time. The CLK GTR and DTM are still some of the coolest cars today.

The magnificent CLK GTR.. spent many hours racing Le Mans in Gran Turismo to buy this beauty. One of my favorites right next to the Cadillac Cien. True racing fans know what I mean!

3:43 reverse lights are on? Wiring issues?
I read that you could use the gearbox without the clutch (besides coming from a stop of course) but it would expedite the wear of the clutch and had to be replaced much more frequently. Really just for track use

Sick video Sam, although I must admit I was a little disappointed that there was no even in car ride along or even close up footage of the car. I don't know hopefully EA grants a little more access next time around. So not necessarily a complaint about the video as much as maybe if that's all someone is going to allow you to do is maybe pass on the opportunity. Seems like a lot of work to in essence follow someone in your car. I love the work you do and the content from a editing perspective is brilliant. Your in my top 5 possibly top 3 youtubers so just trying to offer my opinion which is usually wrong take it easy looking forward to more Italian(Ferrari) content. Good luck on the hunt for the manual 360.

Richard Gaule Laws so they could sell it, and if they didn't sell a certain number for the road it wasn't allowed to be entered into the GT series. Them was the laws back in the day, this and the MC12 are quite literally built purely for racing and that's it, but had to be sold for the road for that.

Denis Spratt 365 GTC! Most noticable difference with the 330 gtc is that the 330 has a side intake-ish thing above the pininfarina logo on the side. Completely agree though :)

The CLK GTR is almost pure unobtainium. I saw 1 in California year or so ago for sale for $3.8 million and it sold 2 days later for $3.3 million. I was told it was purchased by a very private collector, most likely never to be seen in public again.
