Waking up in a dispersed campsite off Cottonwood Canyon Road we get directly into some camp cooking. Adventure riding deep in the Grand Escalante Staircase in Utah within the great scenery of Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef where lies a dirt road that shouldn’t exist. Hells Backbone Bridge ties two otherwise mellow dirt roads over a mountain saddle that is more of a collection of spires and crags. I’m usually pretty suspicious of the extreme names America gives its places, but this one definitely earns its keep. It was a great day up in the mountains on the ADV bike. After adventure motorcycling in rain over a mountain pass we get into Torrey Utah where there’s great motorcycle camping. At the dispersed campsite we do some camp cooking while being threatened by surrounding thunderstorms.

It was very beautiful and great, my friend❤
Thank you!
I've done some incredible camping up there, like one mountain range up from Hells backbone offroad. Camping at 11k feet. Esecelante area is amazing.
Awesome, amazing for sure. I really wanted to camp in that forest. Next time hopefully it’s warmer.
Man that rain at elevation can get into your bones! Hope you don't get rained on overnight dude!
Yeah man that was really tough. I did get chased into the tent before I could do any meaningful cooking, but pretty dry overall.
Altitude. It’s cold. 😂
Haha. It certainly was.
what bike is it
It’s a KTM 690 Enduro. It’s been great.
