John Hiatt is the man & the Guilty Dogs are my favorite accompanying musicians. I know Michael Ward may not be the most talented guitar player to perform with Hiatt, but there is something about his sound that just gets me. Perfectly Good Guitar is still my favorite Hiatt release...just something about those amazing lyrics combined with that jangly sound!
Heard him play live twice. Both in small but EXCELLENT venues. He is "the man" for sure!
