- Delaware is a state in the Atlantic Ocean region in the middle of the United States, located in the north - eastern part of the Delmarva Peninsula and occupying some islands and territories of the Delaware River; These states are one of the three states that occupy Delmarva Island, and as you can see, a large part of this island belongs to Maryland, so the other two areas should also be part of Maryland; So many Americans wonder why the Delaware states exist at all? And why not part of Maryland?

As a Delawarean, I'm offended by the question. One could ask, why doesn't Delmarva all belong to Delaware?
I've wondered the same thing!
Delaware used to be a part of New York when it was a colony then it shared a Governor with Pennsylvania and then became its own thing
I love România
Avelo Airlines has an operating base at Wilmington
Delmarva is not an island. It is a peninsula. Pretty basic and glaring error for a channel supposedly dedicated to geography. This was repeated multiple times. Thus highly unlikely to be a mere slip of the tongue, but instead is likely literal confusion of what an "island" is. Also, Delaware has multiple airports and yes, you can fly there commercially. Your info is apparently garbage.
Good video
Bro called a peninsula an island 💀
Edit: A peninsula is ALMOST surrounded by water and connected to a larger landmass.
Both my children were born in Wilmington. THE Wilmington! 😊
Great video!
Delaware was settled much earlier than Maryland. The Dutch navy actually defeated the English in a Naval Battle in Delaware Bay in 1635.
Delaware was given by the Duke of York, Later James II, to William Penn. After James was overthrown by his daughter and Parliament, William and Mary thru the Privy Council rescinded the conveyance as unauthorized. hence the question might be - -why is not Delaware included in Pennsylvania?
I think we should combine Delaware and Maryland into East Virginia.
IT NOT AND ISLAND! THAT'S A PENINSULA!
Any picture portraying mountains in Delaware is fake.
Um, do you speak with marbles in your mouth?
I quit watching this video when you where calling A Peninsula, a ISLAND 🤡
WTF?
Delaware should stop being a separate entity from the U.S. and be absorbed into Maryland.
The land that Washington, D.C. is on should be split and absorbed by Maryland & Virginia. D.C. should not be owned by the Federal Government i.e. DC, Vatican City and City of London, but by the U.S.A. only.
If absorbed into the State of Maryland, Delaware would lose its two US senators and lots of power.
@@benqurayza7872 Good. Then there would be two less Democrats in power if that were to happen.
